    This is rather güt....

Where did I put those lederhosen...

I actually have some lederhosen which I bought as being more savoury than borrowing them for playing in oompah bands (and the borrowed ones weren't bought with skinny cyclists in mind) ... then the gigs dried up, so they are almost pristine. Perhaps next time I get some Paulaner bier I should don them...

Wow, the things people will admit to on a forum. Don't buy that beer, just don't.

There was (not sure if it is still going) an ultra marathon in the Mendips where all the check points are at Buttcombe pubs. Not sure I would finish.

Ordered wifi cameras from the A-word on Thursday after the weird goings on with the placed ciggies etc. Due next Saturday. Arrived at 5pm today. Unexpected.

Hub and first camera up and running straight away, easy peasy. Temp placement on a window sill overlooking driveway. Will fit them properly outside tomorrow when it's daylight.

    Here's looking at you, weirdo.

For such a big chap, you ain't half a woos.

You have to remember this sort of thing is quite normal in the West Country.

🤔 Good question. I think those might be volunteer watch-dragon minders.

Climate protesters at VW not planning ahead for some life's essentials...
    https://news.com.au/technology/environment/climate-change/vw-climate-protesters-demand-bowl-to-urinate-and-defecate-after-gluing-themselves-to-floor/news-story/c6607e415934d4e36d3188b2d0c7e2b5

“Nine of us glued to the floor and some of us on hunger strike until our demands to decarbonise the German transport sector are met,” he wrote.

“[Volkswagen] told us that they supported our right to protest, but they refused our request to provide us with a bowl to urinate and defecate in a decent manner while we are glued, and have turned off the heating.”

It was unclear whether any of the group had urinated or defecated at that point.

    Comment I found elsewhere:

Reading a translated Marca page about Mikel Nieve's retirement which referred to the "Race of the dead leaves". It makes you appreciate the poetry of "fallen"

I see the Telegraph has decided that referring to the 'wokerati' makes you look like a bit of a d***.

When you have seeming pretty insurmountable and worrying at work, and you just kept your head down and worked away at it.

Then eventually you stop and take stock of the situation and you have in fact surmounted the problem.

    Feels good.
