What's that all about?
- Criticise capitalism all you like but when it is paying your wages, biting the hand that feeds you is not a good idea long term.
- Guardian employees getting a reality check that socialism does not pay their wages
- Even Brits eventually tired of constant anti-UK, anti-democratic rhetoric
- Hoisted by their own petard0 -

Having someone else in a design team openly contradict my advice and being able to respond with a load of technical guidance and regulations supporting why my initial advice was correct especially when the person who initially contradicted me hadn't been asked for their opinion by anyone and it didn't relate to their element of the work.0

Unlike the Guardian, I don't think Murdoch's lot ever pretended they were whiter than white on this front. Point is, the Guardian criticising groups that do tax planning is classic case of people in glass houses throwing stones. Or blatant lefty hypocrisy if you look at it another way.pinno said:Oh and the Murdoch owned press have been squeaky clean, haven't they?

However, it does not bode well when the circulation of newspapers dwindle in the face of the online take over.
News has boiled down to instant, abbreviated sound bites and there seems to be waves of issues that are transient.
People will get on a bandwagon and then the previous bandwagon is engulfed by the next 'sensation'.

Daily Mail is one of the biggest online newspapers and "only" makes circa £150m online from an audience close to 150 million a year.
