Woohoo, the gods smiled on me this morning. Gave the quill stem screw one last whack before starting on the walk of shame to my local bike shop. Out came the nut and out came the stem. Happiness.

Edit: WD40 is shyte. 'WD' - water dispersal. Designed for dodgy ignition systems in the 70's. Some may remember the Marigold glove hack for Mini dizzy caps.

I was completely unaware. First car, tuned, and a hoot, Wish t'internet existed back in the day. Yoofs today don't know they are born.........

I was going to say traffic is still far from normal, but I thought I should click the link to check what it say. Traffic levels have increased but the lack of congestion as the system isn't overloaded seems to be the case from a skim read. As you say it would be good if it could stick.

Peregrine falcon (I think) came to visit the garden. Makes a change from all the parakeets.

I visited Richmond and Kingston for the first time back in February and though I heard about the parakeets as I was taken a bit by surprise seeing them especially in winter. I bet the peregrines love them!

I don't think so. Parakeets usually fly together as a droog flock post-Moloko Milk Bar milk plus. This is to get them ready for a bit of avian ultra violence.

It's been a long while since watching that film and it was late last night. It made sense as soon as Clockwork orange came up.

On that note, my friend had one of the 6 cars that they made for the film. Based on a Hillman Imp. The Probe 16/Durango 95.

What a saga that turned out to be.

Not quite what I meant. I was making reference to the 'real' bits. Forgotten what that's like.

    Enjoy.

Being in Central London today for the first time in 4 months. Quite a pleasant experience actually, for a few reasons.

Yeah. Celebrate the demise of any left of centre press.

That way, the Murdoch's and the predominantly right wing press can spout whatever without being challenged.

We need a balanced press, even if you don't like or agree with what they say, you need that opposing argument.

I will read the Grauniad. I'll also read say, the Torygraph knowing all the time, I am reading something with a particular editorial angle.

Even Rick doesn't read the sandal wearers' bible these days, so I reckon they're doomed.

I'm celebrating the demise of a newspaper that becomes anti-UK unless their political preference is in power/wins. Their negativity is what is killing them.

That it is also the home of wokery and failing, demonstrates how wokery pans out in the commercial world.
