Yes, that's because you bought the bog standard version.
Who needs the option when I can just eat a few more pies?

4 passengers and cruise the estates looking for 'poodles'?
    Or Cockapoos.

Nah, it would be pedigrees in that part of town. Anyhow, I shall be passing through town tomorrow and looking forward to using said button.

    RD500, a V4 two stroke. First one I thought of too. RG500 was a square 4 as I recall.

Yes RD500LC. Thought old MF was having a laugh cos you get an rd5 mini moto I think.or he may have meant an re5 Suzuki rotary -- wouldn't mind having one of those either.

yup - 500LC. Very cool. equal second with the RG5 to my RGV :)

in one hit, a million times more cool points than any car.

    RGV250?

My car dealer has confirmed that my new motor has been fitted with its bike rack and they are using the number plate with the EU stars on it.

But does it come with an option that makes the exhaust sound louder in adjustable increments ?

I'm guessing they were going for the old knackered lawnmower effect. Try this one instead - it's worth watching all of it but otherwise FF to 4.00.

A foot pedal to the right of the foot brake. It has the added benefit of allowing one to adjust the velocity at which one proceeds. One can choose to go faster or slower.

I doubt our EU plates will make any difference other than, after we leave the EU, French coppers will be even more keen to nick a Brit motorist over a similarly speeding motorist from an EU member state than they are now.

Surely by having the Euro flag/stars on your plat it shows that you are a supporter of the EU and not part of the imbecilic leave movement?

If I were a French copper - as per your example - if I was busting you for breaking the law then I wouldn't care if you were British, Italian, Peruvian or from Ulan Bator really.

It was a few years ago (and maybe before they sent automatic penalties by post) but there was a time that I was back and forward to SHAPE in Mons, Belgium on a weekly basis by car and on more than a few occasions, I saw the Gendarmes letting French and other european registered cars go past their speed traps but flagging down Brits who were doing the same (albeit illegal) speed in the flow of traffic. Didn't bother me as I invariably stuck to the limits, particularly after just getting off the ferry. However, things might have changed now.

I would also add that I have seen conflicting advice on use of our current EU plates post-Brexit with the worst case being that Brit drivers will no longer be able to use those with an EU flag on them in Europe. I don't know whether that's true or not but what does seem to be correct is that we will all be required to use the old 'GB stickers' even if we already have GB on the plate. In the grander scheme of things, it's not that important but it's a pain for me personally as I can't use a magnetic GB sticker on one of my cars (and the one that I would normally want to take) because it's got an aluminium tailgate and I don't fancy using a permanent sticky on on it.

No I think the idea is that it shouldn't go faster just sound faster.

What with speed limiters and data recorders becoming mandatory on new cars from 2022, I can see why features like this will become popular :)

Good point but I recon cars will be all electric in a few years and the noise will be compulsory to let peds know you are approaching.

Yes, like getting a clothes peg and fixing a bit of cardboard so it catches your bicycle spokes.
