Getting onto a Strava Top 10 leaderboard... for *walking* up a mountain. Given how much riding I do, that is slightly annoying.

I never ever make public any of my activities. Not my sort of lifestyle vibe. Maybe I can't be one of them Influencers? 🤔

I'm still in two minds, but it's helpful when people ask about a ride or a walk. Obviously I block out the area around home, so that raving loonies can't track my house down and raid it when I'm not there (or even when I am).

Well, they probably could if they were determined enough, but I'm not going to make it too easy.

Overpowering aftershave / eau de toilette. I was out running just now and could first smell the aftershave on a bloke walking in front of me when I was 50m or more behind him. Any time I use public transport or sit in a public space it feels like various people are trying to outcompete on who can smell the most. I've got a few nice aftershaves myself but hardly ever wear them as it feels like even the slighest splash or spray leaves you in a cloud of the smell for hours. Why can't they be made more subtle?

It's a real problem for me and makes me feel quite ill. In any enclosed space I dread it.

It can be overwhelming, I agree.
Some advisory chap came to asses my house to possibly fit Solar Panels and an air source pump and my partner and I ended up opening all the doors and windows after his visit. It was surprising how long it lingered.

    More annoying:

I bought a Dell laptop and a Microsoft office license.
I got an email saying that we're updating blah bollox blah and wanted to make sure that the t's and c's were 'transparent'.

You’re receiving this email because we are updating the Microsoft Services Agreement, which applies to one or more Microsoft products or services you use. We’re making these updates to clarify our terms and ensure that they remain transparent..

    Long spiel ending in this:

If you do not agree, you can choose to discontinue using the products and services, and close your Microsoft account before these terms become effective.

Like I have any fcuking choice.

    Then their indemnity:

If you are a parent or guardian, you are responsible for your child’s or teenager’s use of Microsoft products and services, including purchases.

    “GOOD NEWS

You've won a prize on The National Lottery.”

TBH it’s not good news or worth wasting my time logging in to find I’ve just won my stake back plus 40p.

There’s not even a way to spend 40p on the website.

Sports channels that have locked up the licencing to show a match then fuck about with it.

Notre Dame v Navy from Dublin, kicks off 7.30. Sky coverage starts 8pm.

Wouldn't go so far as to say this annoys me, just irritates a tiniest amount, but very trivial.
The fact that Under Armour make jackets and other items of outer wear. Or that Chapeau make clothing other than hats. I'm sure there are others.

Worked it out. It's a shop for people with all their marbles. Although, its existence is purely on Cake Stop.

It sells bricks. You should really check before making such rash statements. 🙂
