Seemingly trivial things that annoy you

Kind of. One of our neighbours is feeding them regularly so they are just around all the time. That photo was Christmas Day. At least when they get too fat they won't be able to get over our fence.

Can't believe you're comparing cow and horse poo with dog...

You are one of those people who just doesn't like animals, as far as I can tell.

Yeah, horse $h1t smells great.
Horses shouldn't wear horse nappies.

What about fox nappies? Fox shit is vile.

Erm, not sure where you got that from. We have two cats and two rabbits. Overall I quite enjoy having the foxes around but I'd prefer it if they didn't sh*t on my doormat. I'd prefer if dog owners cleared up after their pets but at least it decomposes unlike other litter.

Seems odd to be complaining about wild animal poo to me, that's all really.
And fermented grass is not a problem in my experience. Yes it is slippery, but so is mud dragged on to the roads by farmers. Not ALL about us, us it?

There's a whole litany of problems with dogs and their owners.
The only thing I'd say to any dog owner reading is that not everyone likes your dog as much as you do. In fact, plenty of people hate dogs, so just make sure your dog keep itself, and any excretions it has, to itself.

My own thesis is that the owners who let their dogs off the lead all round Topsham will be the ones who 'happen not to see' their dog leaving a steaming pile.

Generally in favour of dogs being off leads. Generally also in favour of dogs being trained to respond to verbal commands from their owners.
It is generall much too easy to own a dog.
Still, same applies to children and I've not had much traction with the idea of licensing those.

What the former two lack in pungency they make up for in volume and coverage. If we're going for top trumps, I'll raise you pig manure.

Yep, fox nappies.

A no to cow and sheep nappies.

Also a no the hedgehog nappies. I like seeing their $h1t because I know they've been in the garden.
Cat nappies, nobody likes strimming cat $h1t.

Agree, kids can be quite annoying and some people really should have them on a lead when out in public.

There should be an NHS questionnaire.
1. Do you want kids?
2. Have you actually thought about it, I mean really? I mean cost for one and the fact the Boomers have got all the money.
3. How about now?
I think this would help a lot of people.

Maybe a Government health warning as well, such as 'Kids are like farts - you can just about stand your own'

They do spread disease.

If anyone really thought about it we'd die out pretty sharpish. As it is the birthrate is well below replacement.

In some places maybe, but not worldwide.

Previously I thought the worst possible thing you could do to a dessert was to add coffee, but now I've discovered that someone thought it sensible to add cardamom. Why would you do that? This isn't trivial.

I'd have thought pepper in desert was worse.

UK birth rate is 1.56 . Which is why we are overstocked on coffindodgers 🙂 and so reliant on immigration.

When I think of "we" in population terms I think on a bigger scale though.
Major point you've raised though. A dropping UK population means immigration isn't a problem, and housing should eventually become affordable.

It tastes of coffee presumably.

Ice cream spoils a good coffee.
Coffee spoils good ice cream.

Absolutely nothing...
But nothing is wrong with spiced deserts either.

It means actively discouraging immigration is a problem
- Genesis Croix de Fer
- Dolan Tuono0 -
Discouraging immigration appears to be popular though. 🤔😉
