    Cav's gone too early...

    He's just stopped for a breather ;)
  • Is it considered an honour for a pro to "answer the call of nature" against your car?

I'm disappointed at the lack of punditry during the comfort break.

Oh, just noticed you live in Coventry. I'm in Stratford-On-Avon itself and you can imagine how ubiquitous Shakespeare is. When I was at school I couldn't walk down the street without a tourist asking what my favourite play is, or when did I first reading Shakespeare. Anyway, I feel for you!
I've been to the RSC a handful of times before - I was quite looking forwards to it until I realised it clashed with the race. My attendance wasn't optional.

Bah, trust me to miss it as I'm watching it on the Beeb! What was it?

Thought I'd try BBC red button, interested to hear what Millar is like as a pundit.

I like him so far. He can spot riders quickly which really is all I want.

quality of the picture on the BBC is terrible though -> Eurosport HD is (obviously) so much better.

You think GB have worked out who they're riding for yet?

How do the women take a comfort break? Do they carry a she-wee and hope for the best?
  • GB stuck in Sky mode.
They should be at the back, peeing on Dutch cars.

They probably stop to ask for directions as well.

What happened to Millar then? A couple of minutes ago he said "...the World Championships last year in C-c....." and they've both been silent since.

Seems there's some sort of technical problem with the commentators feeds.

Agreed. They always feel the need to do all of the donkey work. They need a more "Mediterranean" approach.

Which is really frustrating because he's really worth listening to.

Yep, he's very good. I've flipped across to Eurosport now. Too much dead air on the bbc coverage (which sounds like it isn't the fault of the commentators, but doesn't exactly make for interesting TV)
  • I wonder if they've actually turned up with some sort of plan?
