I think TV was singing to himself.

He looked very mellow, whatever he was doing.

I've just come in. 4 laps to go, right?

Yahoo sports ticker says Wiggins and Froome retire from the race, joining Cavendish and Dowsett on the sidelines for Great Britain.

In my seat at the RSC. Pretty sure people are going to start staring at me if I don't put this down in a minute. Will check back at the interval!

Good drinking game: every time Millar has to say "thats actually Maxime Bouet", you drink. You'd be hammered.

:D To most it'd be obvious TV wouldn't be riding on the front... not Porter though!

Break starting to whittle down. Lastras, Bouet and Ananacona out the back.

Another huge crash leaves about 50 riders in the peloton... no big names AFAICS.

About 40 seconds, but there are riders everywhere. Sanchez, Valv, Gilbert, Boonen, Sagan looking good in what's left of the bunch.

Next time I'm on a fast descent I'm going to try turning the handlebars to get around a corner like in the Tacx advert on Eurosport.

"Peter Sagan, I think he used to do a bit of mountain biking?"

says Porter, of the past Jr World and European Champion Mountain Biker.
  • Is that Twerpstra caught behind the crash? Prob longer than 100 to 1 shot now!

Rule No.10 // It never gets easier, you just go faster
  • That crash was very annoying.

I wish Cummings would ride as well as the Italians. Ullisi is a fast finisher and JTL could do without racing the others behind.

    Great race so far.

Watching all on red button. Great commentary and no adverts. Brilliant.
    Contador is the Greatest

Cummings & JTL seem to be riding sensibly - leaving others to drag the break along.
