Well.....looking at that helmet, its not HTC-highroad, when they had specialized helmets, but HTC-columbia, which was the 2010 season. looking at the 2010 roster.........Bert Grabsch maybe? definitely not Renshaws nose.

Any takers on this one? Need to be keen on the detail to know this one.
I'll bite on that one.
BBB glasses - they only sponsor Vacansoleil this year and its not a Bianchi bike. My guess is that its 2011 when they sponsored QuickStep. Bike looks a bit like a Merckx paint-job so that'd match too.
As the only person in last years QS team that would bother his ass with a TT bike, I'm guessing Chavanel.
That is the most wonderfully geeky post I have ever read on this forum.
Chappeau sir. Brilliant detective work.0 -

How about posting a few all time favourite photos FF? (please not all of Bertie) You must have a few fav's out of that 3,0000

I've thought about it. I probably will at some point. I was actually looking through some of the older ones as I was looking for the falling leaves photo and came across some wonderful ones. It is really nice actually as it really bring back the races.

I really like this one I did. I wanted to post it during the Tour but he never went for the jersey!

Actually I think it is Monfort
If this is true, it means that there's stuff wrong on the internet. This changes everything.'This week I 'ave been mostly been climbing like Basso - Shirley Basso.'0 -

Does anyone know what race this was from? I'm guessing Giro.

Also, does anyone think the Caisse guy in the background is Uran? I'd be interested if anyone can remember the story behind this photo.

CNN are reporting that there have already mass suicides and rioting in California in reaction to the news the internet might be wrong. Tim Berners-Lee has been nailed to a cross and warring factions are disputing if Montfort or Renshaw is the one true prophet.Twitter: @RichN950

Oh crap. Does this mean I can expect a fatwah for mentioning that Renshaw has been shite since he joined Rabo? Not to mention the fact that I'll have to stop drawing that Monfort cartoon strip I do for a Danish paper?'This week I 'ave been mostly been climbing like Basso - Shirley Basso.'0 -
Yeah that's definitely Charteau or Monfort.0

Haha, of course, what a face. Never knew he rode for Caisse tho.Contador is the Greatest0

Ale Jet, stage 6 of 2004 Giro. He won 9 flippin' stages that year 'This week I 'ave been mostly been climbing like Basso - Shirley Basso.'0 -

It was under 10 degrees C and continuous rain the whole day and the first 40 km were scrapped because the roads in the starting area were flooded.
This wasn't the only stage affected or shortened; they had bad weather all week. The 6th (and most mountainous) stage was reduced to only about half as long as initially proposed, and the 7th and last stage to only 2/3 its intended length.0 -

Awesome images. You obviously have an eye for this. I'm looking to put something on my office wall. Is it possible to get images like this enlarged?0 -
Thanks. You couldn't enlarge them without losing the quality and I don't have any very large res. For that you would have to buy one from one of the photographers. (Jered Gruber, Sirotti, Tim de Waele, OneV, K Ramon).
What riders do you like best? I can post a couple of them. Also, if you fancy an avatar of your fav rider, I'll do one for you.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Anybody got a picture of British Road Champion, Sean Yates wearing the BCF Jersey while riding the 1993 Paris-Roubaix
This was the front cover of cycling weekly (the next weekend) and I seem to have lost it.Organiser, National Championship 50 mile Time Trial 19720 -

Ah, Hoogerland. Good choice!
Hardly have any photos of Stannard (yet), so this one is tough, but here are a few you may like:
