If Rick thinks that's heavy he should try my Kona. It's all relative. I'd love a Dogma, even if I've never been to sure about the curve of the forks. They look better in dark colours like IP's.

My LBS had one of the Team Sky Dogmas in the shop a couple of months back and the staff got to ride it. It was one of the bikes that they used on the TdF last year, which had been bought by one of the Sky Team employees. They didn't say anything about weight, but they did think that it was one of the most uncomfortable bikes they had ridden because it was too stiff. They pitied the guys having to sit on that bike for day after day.

TT today was magnificent. Watched just up the road from Hampton Court (by the first roundabout on the ladies course) then rode over to the Portsmouth Rd for the return straight. Did this for both men and women then finished off watching the last 10 mins in a pub in Long Ditton. The pub went mental when Wiggo won. Was very exciting.

    Just a thought.

If Hoy does better than 2 bronzes he will become British Olympian Top Dog.

Oh and I've amended the thread title to include the track.

    We're splitting hairs a bit.

The bike could be a lot lighter almost a kilo - and given all the marginal gains guff sky put out, you'd think they'd want to address that, right?

Jeez, a throwaway comment on here and they're on your back ;).

Talking about 2 different frames isn't exactly splitting hairs is it. You labeled the current Dogma as heavy and then used the 2010 frame to back your argument up. If you're gonna make throwaway comments then at least make sure you're talking about the right frame.

Sorry but the "Pinarello's are really heavy guff" jus getting a little tired.

Didn't you just put a list up that put sky's bike as the heaviest? 800 grams heavier than the minimum weight

Sky's maybe, not Movistar's. We're talking about the Dogma2 as a frame, not Sky's built up version.

If Sky really wanted to lose weight they could just put different kit in the frame. My poin is that the frame, I.e the Pinarello bit is not heavy. Sky might make it so, but Movistar show that it doesn't have to be, their version is among the lighter bikes.

Anyway, enough of this. I shouldn't react to your trolling.

    It's not trolling.

I heard a while back the pinarellos were heavy and sky weren't happy with them, so I said they were heavy. turns out I was referring to the bike the year before.

You come out with a list that says indeed, sky's bike is still the heaviest. Another team with apparently the same frame is a bit lighter, but still nowhere near the lightest.

We're virtually agreed, only that you don't like me calling it heavy! Sheesh.

I wondered why you were so slow in the Pyrenees must have been the bso you were riding.

Awesome day. Bbq at a mate's house with the family, beer, sunshine, and a great viewing spot on the Portsmouth Road to boot.

Lucky sod. I managed to catch it on the office TV. Fantastic result, but makes me even more gutted for Cav!

Lots of space to see the riders, too. Could see them from 200 yards away, then 300 odd after they went past. Did I say that we had beer and sunshine?

You could the roar of the crowd for both the men and women waaaaaaay before you saw the riders.

Really felt for Sanchez. He was just cruising when he passed us.

I vaguely remember reading something about sky going to Pinarello when they first started and said told them the bike's too heavy.

Your list shows that their bike is the heaviest of the group?

    Here you go: http://forums.roadbikereview.com/pinare ... 98632.html

No, it shows that Sky's Dogma2 is the heaviest. Movistar's isn't. So you can't say the Dogma2 is the heaviest bike, you can say that Sky's is. Clearly weight is dependent on what kit you hang on it! Also the list you point to refers to the 2010 Dogma, not the Dogma2.
    See your bike?

    +1.

Even the kids loved it. There was a big group of them racing around the street afterwards saying "I'm Lizzie", "I'm Bradley". Awesome. 8)

  • It was great day out at the TT, my mate and I went down and watched it just the other side of Kingston Bridge after the railway bridge. Saw everyone speed past, got some cool photos and then once Cancellara had gone by we got straight out on the still closed road and absolutely caned it after them. Was holding a good 28-30mph for about a mile and a half, with people (inc. cops and marshals) cheering us on and marshals blowing their whistles to keep people off the road. My mate reckons people were taking photos of us, would love to see 'em :D invisible aerobar position the whole way!

Very annoying but rule is rules.. it would have been helpful to have seen the so-called infringement on the BBC though. None of the replays online actually showed the changeover.

Yeah one of the beeb online stills showed it a while after. Vic was about 8 inches ahead at changeover.
What do you mean you think 64cm is a big frame?
