If he goes to Sky, he ll be Froome-Dog's climbing domestique - Bet Michelle would luurrrrve that ;).

I think Dead Calm has a good point about Garmin actually. VDV is not realistically going to do anything again, Not sure the stars will align in Hejedal's direction for a while, they need someone to get them stage wins now Farrar has given up even getting his token nothing races, could be good!

Vaughters tweeting about his ultimate Moneyball find over the weekend too...

Haven't seen it post anywhere but Rohan Dennis signed up with Garmin for next year, thought he would end up with OGE but there have the rest of the Teams Pursuit squad so maybe not as many chances for him.

    Sly Szymd is leaving Liquigas.

    I'd guess BMC

Or Saxo. Contador tried to hire him before so maybe with some Tinkoff money they made a good offer
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

Sly's been no good this year. His dealer must have gone out of business.

Considering this Liquigas exodus, any news on the sponsor status for next year?

Liquigas green must have one of the longest presences in the peloton by now

I think Cannondale are taking over as primary sponsor.

Yeah, Liquigas are my favourite but am not happy with all these movers. Unless they are transferring money to some other top notch talent.

I hope not. I don't think it would be a particularly good move for him.

Agreed. I think he's be better off at Cannondale / Liquigas.

    Qunitana is riding - woooo.

Blimey, I think we are going to be in for a treat with stage winners.

I guess it could depend on how many stages he chooses to gift to others.

  • Saw on twitter that a guy working eneco (media I think) is saying omega beat bmc to sign cav and he is taking hunt, eisel and dowsett alOng for the ride. Jtl and dombrowski rumoured signings for sky already.

Anyone else got this? Not surprised other than perhaps hunt and dowsett. Dowsett has the engine and could do with getting bigger races and hunt is a good mate of cavs so perhaps that fits.

So Quick-Step will even be harder to beat come March and the first week of April?
  • Pretty sure that if Cav is leaving, he (and Eisel) will be heading to OPQ - its the only team that makes any sense and that has the money. BMC would just be frying-pan/fire scenario re Cav's Tour ambitions. Hunt's name in there is a read herring - he's probably leaving Sky but to retire - I thought that had been pretty much confirmed already this year. In fact Sky's DS on the Eneco Tour last week tweeted that the Eneco ITT was Hunt's last one. Dowsett - that's an interesting one: product of BC's Olympic Academy Development programme, had a decent first year as neo last year, but a nightmare with that elbow injury in March and has been struggling to really get back to same level as last year. Even his TT'ing is nowhere near the same level as last year - Christian Knees finished above him in the Eneco ITT.

With all those signings for AG2R, they may have a great year next year, definitely with many more wins. Betancur and Chainel are attacking minded.

    Transfer summary so far:
