Froome & Cav won't move. I'll bank my house on it (if I had a house.. you get the point!)

He needs to go somewhere where they'll let him off the leash to go after stage wins/one dayers rather than making him ride for 12th on GC.

Did you lose it in a previous bet?

    Pinot to BMC?

Kreuziger, Chinny, Roche would be a very strong set of riders to have around Steak Boy.

Hasnt been announced but I sure hope Tiralongo, Fugslang and Cancellara come to Saxo.

Seeing Tiralongo and Navarro riding themseleves into the pain cave selflessly for Contador is a joy to watch. They both love Contador.

Astana is such a rubbish team for development of talent. Anyone that goes there leaves soon after or gets caught doping. Its purely a money thing.

Surely Canc would want to go to a team with strong flat classics presence?

Not sure Saxo could provide that for him.

    Yeah. Thought about that.

Chinnny for the Cobbles, Eroica and assorted hardman chippers, Gilbert for the Ardennes and Lombardy. Let em scrap it out in San Remo and watch as Sagan triumphs.

Fabian, Matti (confirmed he's likely on the move to Saxo), Nuyens, Mørkøv, Kroon - that's a decent team for the classics if you ask me.

I'm sure there's nothing they love more than sitting down and sharing a fine steak!

Tiralongo has a contract with Astana to the end of 2013, which he has said he will honour?
We'll have to wait and see on that one.

The fact there was a contract in place last time I think perhaps the chinny to team sky thing might be on again.

However it would be an interesting fit on having that many strong TT guys in one team, whether that can be managed as surely wiggins vs canc in worlds etc would be a bit of a stress internally (given the same management run the national GB squad). Flecha is rumoured to be off and Classics is one area Sky have given a go but not lit up a race yet. He would also fit into that mould of a big star who is happy to take a back seat to a GC rider in the big tours and work his backside off for the leader.

They might even be able to offer him some roulers for the classics like Stannard, Hayman and Thomas which could perhaps help him with the fact he is the most marked rider. I can see him at Saxo if the schlecks don't start another team.

    The Schleck singular, you mean?

Roche possibly to Saxo-Bank. What a sh*t signing that would be.

If Cav does leave Sky and therefore frees up a lot of salary then I can see Canc going there. I think it would be good for G and Stannard as well in helping them develop of Classics riders riding in support of Canc for a few years. I can't see Canc going to the same team as Gilbert though.

the whole Radioshack team are transferring to the dole. Who really think they have a gig for next season with RSNT?

I think it could be a decent move for him. He rode fairly anonymously during the tour to finish 12th and was only off the front once. I don't think he is ever likely to make the top 5 of a Grand Tour so maybe he needs to reassess his goals. He would be a good support rider for an GC contender though.

Surely at least half of them will be able to claim a heating allowance this year anyway.

He was considering it before he went to Leopard. Swiss team, sometimes trains with Evans...Depends what he wants to do next I suppose.

Junior Murdoch is a fan, so that'll help. Whether his ex-coach Cecchini would cause a problem is another story.

Cancellara to Sky makes a lot of sense.

He can be the main man in the cobbled classics (at least while Thomas and Stannard learn their stuff) and would be a great addition to their Tour squad. Particularly if there is going to be a TTT in the Tour next year, a TTT team based around Cancellara/Wiggins/Froome/Rogers/Porte/Thomas/EBH would be quite something.

Rogers contract is up end of this year. Been offered another year at Sky. But also been offered a loger contract by Greenegde.... easy to do the math where he'll end up next year.

He wants to target week long stage races while riding support in the TDF.
