Who's the other female presenter and why is she on the show? She doesn't appear to me to have any knowledge of cycling.
They seem very keen to push the "cycling's so fasionable" angle, which is annoying. I know they want to appeal to the masses, but they can do that without banging on about style over substance.
Not really sure of what the point of the bike polo stuff was. Surely it would be better to cover stuff like sportives, or mountain bike techniques etc. That's surely mass-market stuff? Learning to ride a BMX, or bike polo just isn't going to get many people interested.0 -

That Anna glwanonoinskiinski girl looks like she'd needs a good scrub and to clean her teeth more often! She interviews people in such a boring wooden way that she makes the people she is interviewing seem dull, and they are keen and eager to get theirs point across. Agree withe the points on box and bike polo, why talk about bike polo and it's 3000 players rather than road or mountain biking which has 1500 people on just one ride last week.
By the way, I thought lizzie armistead was stunning, and why did they blank out the Nike logo on dani kings jumper for about 10 seconds when she was putting that bike together but clearly show it for the rest of the show.0 -

I heard they've got Dan Atherton and Sam Pilgrim on, actually bothering to watch it tonight in the hope that they get more than 5 minutes between them.0 -
Staggered at how uninformative and pretty misleading the section on ride2work schemes was a minute ago.0

+1 and also why did the bike shop recommend a mountain bike with suspension to the guy who wants a bike for his commute. Unless we missed a bit about his commute being through a forest it seems ill advised. Most of the people I know who've tried cycling and then given it up as too hard is in the main due to the fact they bought or were advised to buy a MTB when all their riding was on the road.
This program has some promise but it needs a lot of work :shock:Trek Madone 5.9

You must have missed the bit where he said he wanted something he could get out on the trails with then
This episode was better than the last one I watched, don't remember which it was, but prefered this, some bits were naff, but it was ok on the whole. Still, doubt I'd have bothered watching had if not been for Atherton being on there.0 -
just as they failed to ask Big Ted the other week whether it was true that he introduced Lance to Michelle, they failed to ask Roche anything interesting this week...ho, hum...0

I lol'd at the customer service in CRC, you'd think there was someone in there with a sales patter, that would sound eloquent on camera, especially when the company sponsors the show. All the staff are culchie's.

I'm giving up on the programme, every one I have watched so far has been truly terrible to watch. Judging by the last few posts it doesn't sound as if it is any better. I shall delete it from the HD. There, now I've said it I feel much better.Trek Madone 3.5

Caught this last night, quite cringeworthy, the talking sofa was OK but could they really not find another girl who can ride a bike and have presentation skills? I mean girls are better at multi tasking are they not...fair doo on trying the spins though. Atherton (1, 2, or 3 - not sure which one it was) and Pilgrim are great riders but not exactly great chat, their sponsors must be so proud... as for all those fannies on Bromptons if ever there was a social demographic specific bicycle it is a Brompton. Where is the tech chat section was it in the first 10 mins that I missed?0

I went for a job in there, did the interview, got called back for the appraisal day, plenty of sales in my employment history, plenty of enthusiasm about bikes .. didn't get a job. Not that I'm bitter!
But that, on top of the customer service experience I had in the new store on a couple of occasions, and them never sending me the interview / appraisal feedback I requested, has already cost them the guts of £500 of turnover so far.All the above is just advice .. you can do whatever the f*ck you wana do!

She's ok. She rode that mtb down from AdH ok which I think some of us would struggle to do. She isn't a 'polished' presenter like you normally get. It's not a serious bike show, rather a magazine show that looks at apects of cycling. Stephen Roche, Dan Atherton, Bromptons,Cycle scheme. All cycling but different. I'd like to have seen footage of Roche but it's an ok programme imo. I don't worry if they haven't reviewed the ltd edition Wilier that we'll never ride anyway. I'll leave that to ProCycling and Bike RadarM.Rushton0
