Weird how Voeckler gets loads of flak for being a limelight hogger when Jens Voigt is... well... Jens Voigt.

Voeckler has carved out his niche as the Jacky Durand of the "live from 1400" era to perfection.

What, and Voigt hasn't? They're exactly the same.

    I was being positive!

Jens has other strings to his bow. He's a bit odd, swears with a sliht Aussie twang and is a good team mate too.

Bleh. He winds me up far more than Voeckler.

Both of them have made a great living from not many results. Maximised their USPs.

But then TV does his bit.

Cracking finish to the stage in the end, that final km was seriously tough!

I like both TV and JV. I wouldn't want a peloton full of them, but they're characters and provide a bit of interest.

What was the point in Cadel's sprint?

Still early though, big stage tomorrow and a couple of traps along the way to the big Pyrenees stage.

No point to that sprint other than to show he had something in him and didnt have the balls to act. Very very disappointing.

I truely hope there will be some GC efforts by the main contenders during tomorrows stage, or else this will be borefest to Paris.

He's been beaten mentally. He knows that he can't win.

considering almost all the GC contenders reluctance to attack from a distance then that leaves two stages where there is a mountain top finish for some action to sort out the overall GC.

say what you want about Andy Schleck, at least he had the balls to attack from 60kms out last year to try and win the tour..

Hm thought i picked right winner as he conserveda fair bit, fair play to TV rode hard all day and shame for JV.
    Hard finish.
I dont think Evans has it in his legs as he did not attack, if he could he would have, VDB tired and worked hard for small gain, it will sap his energy same as Nibs, bit fuitless really, time to gain is on hard climb but sky are riding good tempo, they would have to loose either EBH rogers or porte early in stage to struggle.
