Big Schleck in whining about the course stunner.
Oh well no excuses from him for not launching audacious stage winning attacks then is there0 -
Wiggins knows he can put a minute onto the entire field as long as he is still healthy come the final TT. This will give Sky plenty of confidence to not do anything daft. You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0 -
Guys: what is the best live updates thing to have on for the stage? Cycling news? I remember the Le Tour offical one had the bikes, but not sure about the info of the race.0

I dont see sky chasing everything today, they dont need to, theres only realistically 4 or 5 riders they need to manage. Out of the rest of them I do not see anyone who can ride away from the sky train and gain 5 minutes. Thats one of the problems with radios, the DS can tell them whos in a break, theres no need to chase small break with no hopers but if break of dozen or so with any riders within 6 minutes then they have to be careful and I would be surprised if they let a group like that go, anyway the other breakaways would not be happy with that as reduces their chance of stage win.
Sky just need to keep a rein on main GC contenders and I cannot see them loosing 4 minutes if they ride tempo. All this talk of attacking on descents, I can only see them loosing 30 secs at max if that happened and then they would pull it back on less technical sections. Everyone is assuming NIbs is actually going to be at the top to be able to attack, he may be doing it to get back on!!!
IMO I think today is idea for a break and will go very early as other teams know Sky wont chase a break. Could be quite fun becuase I think BMC and LG would try to stop breaks with no hopers and hope more dangerous riders try to get away so Sky have to control at higher pace.
Look for Hoogerland,Tommy V , David M of cofidis to have a go for sure. Along with FDJ who will try a few times for sure.0 -

Thanks, that is an improvement on last year isnt it! I like the retro feel to it0 -
A bit of showboating or a serious attempt to get up and over the HC in touch?
EDIT: sprint points I guess0 -
Also to give Nibali a hand if he has an attack planned.
Orica won't let him go though. And I'd imagine Sky wouldn't either.0 -
Sagan showboating ? Surely not :-)0

Why wouldn't Sky let him go? He's no threat to GC0 -
