    Bos dropped.

At least Goss can climb well for a sprinter.

    Where has Thor's form gone?

Combo of illness/old, and the fact so far he hasn't raced the Tour yet.

Thor's only good in the Tour.

    Something in the name.

Don't know what to do about the Hushovd pick I've got in PTP (tomorrow I think). Is he struggling that much or maybe saving himself with a view to going for tomorrow??

    Where's Cav?

Near the front with his Sky team mates apparently.

Looking good for Cav, quite a few sprinters gone out the back. Goes to show he climbs OK when he wants to in comparison to many of his counterparts.

Whay are Liquigas doing so much work? Keeping Basso out of trouble is one thing but riding really fast just to drop a few fat sprinters seems pointless?

The route's straight, so they're probably worried Basso might crash.
  • Definitely looks a ploy to string it out earlier so the sprinters teams dont control the finish

Why does the Lithuanian?? champ always ride near Cavendish? It makes it really confusing as the jerseys are so similar (even worse on the day when Cav wasn't wearing his WC stripes!).

Just turned it on. What's going on? Seem to be quite a few groups on the road.

#66 @ Euskatel gets filmed taking some asthma inhailer. Bet he was pleased they filmed that.

I've only been on for about 40min or so, but just read back through the comments - and this looks quite good doesn't it? Haedo crashing, Phinney crashing, Leaky pushing it on the front. Farrar shelled. Hushovd shelled. Bauer trying to drag back sprinters on, Goss and Cav still up there...

is there a fancy dress party at the finish - two dancing mice?

All together really, just a few sprinters dropped (Farrar and Hushovd).
