Has Boonen got a team car behind him? Just wondering whether he'd get a new wheel instantly.

Boasson Hagen let's them go. Sorry, but he is turning into a total fanny in my eyes.

From B*ll*cks to fanny in 5 minutes!
Think Eurosport called it wrong. Hayman went put the back not EBH I think.

  • That's the end of any challenge... good to see somebody win it in 70s style.

The only thing that could make this sweeter is fewer people picking Boonen in PTP

    Fabian says:

Bonnen is motivaited to win alone and not like the other races in the sprint. #mentalpower. Looks like it gonna happen....25km to go.

Got to say i'm loving this. Boonen has been bold. Well done him (even if he dies with 10 to go).

Think you are all making judgements too early. Be interesting seeing the opinions of this post race. I am expecting boonen to slow in the next 10km

    Or not... :D

Looks like Boonen and Boom are doing their best to make up for Cancellara not being there. Boonen with the solo effort and Boom motoring following a bike change.
  • Credit to Boom, giving it a go

Ha ha ha, big police presence at the carrefour de l'arbre, including a helicopter. Let's hope the Belgians don't go too mad this year celebrating Boonen's ride.
  • Boonen has ridden this as well as anyone ever.

Over the bad cobbles now and fully deserving of the epic victory this will surely be.

    Has FF gotten to Tomekke?

    I like "too mad" there.

As every Belgian is a little bit mad.

After last week, I thought he'd have to rely on a sprint from a group!! How wrong I was!

It's more Museeuw in 2002 for me. Boonen's first PR too, 3rd after Hincapie fell in a ditch
