Kolobnev's bike apparently. I'm guessing his wife wasn't too pleased with the news a short while back.

Probably rested his wallet on it after he popped back in the house to find his keys.

Isn't it to do with Riis' nickame? As well as being Mr. 60%, he was called the Eagle of Herning. It's there on all of his teams, check out this CSC team car.

sponsor brands images was what I saw then. Riis maybe backs them but if not then just ego from him..shock

Looks like Contador has ended sponsorship with Giro Helmets and Glasses.. Also really loving the all white/unmarked S-works Shoes.. Still pretty unusual for him to be riding that bike..

Only thing that spings to mind is maybe the Giro contract ran out on 31/12/11 and they didn't want to renew until after the CAS hearing.
  • The Marketeers wont be happy to see him in Giro shades and Spesh helmet though... mixed message and all that.
  • Sky kit changes:
Sky's thin line between winning and losing has got a lot wider.Blue stripe should be very visible from overhead helicopter shots; minor addittion of News International logos too.

The reason its bigger is something to do with IG Markets logo on the back of the shorts being a bit bigger...

And people wonder why Sky are divisive?

There's a reason people like Freire.

Because he trains on his colnago with a bike pump gaffa taped to his bike, and after 250km of Milan San Remo, (which he goes on to win), when asked by a teammate how he's feeling since he hasn't said anything, his response is "my legs hurt a bit".

No bullshit, just talent, speed, and a bit of grit.

Valverde looking very lean. I think he is going to be very strong this year..

Yeah, been training like a monster and feels he has a point to prove. Looking forward to it. Hopefully leads to some great racing.

I dislike the text on the blue line immensely. The sentiment is fine; it's what Sky and BC believe in, to me it just doesn't look right on the kit.

I don't quite get the Freire point though. He has enough innate talent to be great no matter how he trained, but there are only a handful who are. Searching for marginal gains, innovative ways of training etc is not a bad thing to believe in.

Almost the same. The Garmin text down each side wasn't there last year IIRC. I was hoping they might do something like the 2009 or 2010 kit, which was really nice.

All black affair with wc bands on rear wishbone

Must be a very light bike as it looks like it is floating (see where the shadow under the wheels is

There's a video on the Wiggle facebook page of a Garmin rider doing a climb with his 800

Looks like he's wearing the new 2012 kit. Looks nice!

I think Cav's Dogma looks crap - but only because the Dogma doesnt look good in small sizes (the large tubes and the curves dont look good in miniature - and I dont mean that to be offensive). Cav's frame looks like its a 49 or 50cm :(

Im not going to comment on the black shoes.

Most bikes look rubbish when they're small sized.

Well, if your that way inclined then the BMC or Katusha Kit will have to do. Might be a bit much to red though - What might everyone at the Cafe stop say?

Yeh I'm not so hot on the over use of the argyle, the top half of the jersey is nice though.

My Cervelo is red and white. Meh :(

Think I'll give it a miss and wait until next year and hope they make a better looking kit.

Wish I could buy the genuine 2009/2010 Cervelo TestTeam kit still :(
