Considering yesterdays efforts, wonder if Andy will allow Bert the stage today - hmm. Good fun viewing today.

That's a hell of a long valley to cycle down.

Thank fek for that, on France 2 the commercial break has just come on. Now, breathe deeply, and relax... :D

This reminds me of the Col d'Eze stage of Paris Nice 2009.

I never thought this day would come, Bernie singing the praises of capitalism!

Schleck didn't go 80 odd kms out on his own though.

Did anyone see Schleck A and Contador chatting and laughing in the neutral zone?

GC decimation in return for a stage win on the Alpe?

Why are the Peloton so slow?

Gotta love the tdf iPhone app. At the moment it's showing Flecha and Hoogerland in the Contador group, then Flecha and Voeckler in the next group back, then Voeckler and Pineau in a group behind them, then Pineau and Hoogerland in another group behind them.

Anyone else having letour.fr live crash on them? Can't get it to work, relying on this forum for details at the moment.

Voeckler is on his own in 'no mans' land' now. :(

What is Andy doing? Bertie asks for help and he does - surely Andy's job is to sit of Bertie's wheel and attack in the last few kms if he can? If they get caught it is no big issue and either Frank or him could attack. I think I might send Andy an email about some Nigerian money he can have if he pays me a few grand in advance!

Eurosport has the same live updates which currently appear to be working fine:

Andy still needs to put time into Evans. This is one way of doing it...

Yep, it's bonkers. He's no idea how he or AC will be riding by the end of the stage. If he loses time to AC today he could still lose this thing in the TT tomorrow.

Andy probably has a big enough gap over Contador but needs to put time into Evans. Makes sense to me.

I don't know. He needn't worry about Contador as he already has a large time gap on him. At the moment they are riding away from the one danger man in Evans. If they put a minute into Evans then Schleck has the tour sown up surely?

Voeckler does seem to be reducing the gap to the leaders a little.
