Carlton Kirby doing a Prof Brian Cox impersonation

I like the way Sean Kelly never says a word to Carlton. I can't work out if only David Harmon can hear Kirby or if Sean just thinks he's a total eejit and refuses to engage with him.

I reckon its the latter. The waves of silent contempt flow across the tv.

I hope it's the former. Despite the fact that he's potentially a drug addled cheat, he's still an exciting rider to watch.

Does anyone know, if moments before it happend, Phil and Paul waxed lyrical on how ES Players never crash?

I've given Carlton a lot of stick in the past, but he's now a legend in my book after that interview with Prof Brian Cox.

I thought you were all talking about Brian Cox the actor. I like Carlton and his endless enthusiasm for chateux and regional cheese information. What what his interview about?

How was Cav doing going up the Agnel?

No, Brian Cox the former drummer for d:REAM. He was trying to explain the size of an Alpine climb using the analogy of household groceries stacked on top of each other. Very informative.

Cav was going up the Agnel... slowly.

Frank Schleck trying to wave the camera bike away.

I get the impression the only way the two Schlecks would be happy with the Tour de France would be if they were the only two riders in it, every stage was a summit finish in the alps and no spectators or media showed up.

    Just get on with it!

According to letour.fr we've only 4 out the back, and people attacking the peloton. Doesn't seem like any GC (or team) is really taking it on to make it hurt.

Don't worry, it will be all action once they see the 5km to go flag.
