    That's ace!

As a related point, has anyone received their WW 108 shirt from them yet? 2 months since purchase and no sign of shipping yet...

    Gilbert
It’s only a couple of points lost by Gilbert ... Delage (again) and his 5 companions up front took the more valuable points.
Perhaps Gilbert is not too bothered - I read today he is hoping to push hard on one of the mountain stages so that Cavendish falls outside the time limit!

Delage has now bagged about 80 pts, most if not all from just the Intermediates! I wonder if he can keep it up through the mountains, maybe Hushovd getting a few then too, so they both come closer the Points podium.
I imagine the Tour organisers were hoping that the Points competition would be a bit more open than already down to just 3 contenders (Gilbert, Rojas, Cavendish) - although I suppose in a week or so Evans will be right up there too.

I think the idea was that Gilbert knows he can't beat Cavendish, so send Greipel up to deny him a point. But it backfired obviously.

A Cav win, Rojas no better than 3rd and Gilbert no better than 6th would i think put Cav in green.

But I could be wrong, and Cav might not win!!!

You know it's going to be a bunch sprint when the commentators have spent the last ten minutes talking about Chateaux's and obscure 1970's TV shows!

Is he planning to get Greipel eliminated as well then?

It's a lousy tactic anyway. It will wear Gilbert out and won't get rid of Rojas.

Rojas puncture. Might be tough to get back in for him.

yeah, I thought that was strange. It would have to be a monster ride. Cav would also have to finish outside the time limit and on his own. Can't see it happening.

I agree it's a stupid tactic, but if a big group finishes outside the time limit, they're liable to get a points deduction rather than being excluded. So he still needs to be careful.

I dont care what they say or the speedo read on the motorbike, but they were not going 80kmph... Riders were still turning gears... at 80kmph you are already spinning out a 53x11... I think the speed on the motobike is fixed like that for effect

Frankly he would have to be on a heroic amount of drugs to pull that off.

Frank Schleck could end up giving Cav a lead-out at this rate.
