They banned my blog post on bikeradar for my new bike, for that, I'm considering a case against bike radar, I have a solicitor advising me on what could be a possible outcome

    can't wait

Are you sure they didnt just move "your blog" to the crudcatcher where it belongs? Maybe take the hint mate, youre a fungal growth feeding off the goodwill of everyone else on this forum, go back to the rock you crawled out from underneath.

And kaytronika, you were saying about removing your cassette to take the plastic off... I just went at mine with a pair of wire cutters and pulled it off no problems, or are you interested in keeping it just in case? Bike is looking lovely too, is your arse thanking you for the new perch? I ride the same seat and find it incredible with a good padded liner.

to get the spoke guard off you just take the cassette of and it comes straight off. I left mine on incase I bend the rear mech again and it takes chunks out before I can stop.

I take the cassette off now and then for a spruce up.

Shukur, take your comments to Crud Catcher, stop bumping threads here for no good reason

Little bit of an update, no new pics for which I apologise.

I used the Carrera (repleat with a set of Schwalbe City Jet slicks) to complete my first Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride in July. Did it for charity and raised £300, was severly hampered by a chesty cough though. (Lot of pressure to ride unfit when you've commited to raising cash)

Putting the wheel on at the start of the ride I got in a pickle and the rear pad fell out, in my rush to get both pads back in I didn't seat them properly and managed to crack the pistons on the rear caliper.

Long story short, I ordered a new pair of pistons in and now I know how to repair disc brakes. I also know how to seat the pads properly for future reference  Good learning experience.

Fingers cross, after the BB issues and the rear brake issues I can get back to enjoying the bike.

Hi everyone, I don't know why no one has posted since december 2011 but it's now 2013 and its about time you posted some new pics and posts on the carrera fury.

i was selling my carrera fury for £475 or nearest offer until i decided to keep it.

ive also forgotten how you put pictures on here as well, so come on and lets get this thread kicking again with more posts!
  • There's a Carrera thread (it's in my signature). Put it there instead of resurrection this old thread. More people will see it.

    Cheers
