kev those are fantastic! Would you mind doing that White outline one with grey instead of red? I'd really love to order my frame with Tony tonight and that would mean I could send him my paint! Cheers man I'm pretty set on grey now, cheers0

Excellent work Kev.
I've downloaded a Trial version of Photoshop, btw I'm new to this Photoshop lark. Where did you get your frame stencil?
I'm looking to mock up a FM028
Cheers0 -
Can you buy something similar to say a Madone 6 series from China with internal routing?0
-
Just got an email to say the FM015 is out of stock, I went for it because of the internal routing, they have offered me one with ISP but im worried about the fact it's non-adjustable.
What other model from E-hongfu-Bikes, would you guys suggest ?On a Mission to lose 20 stone..Get My Life Back

Im thinking about the FM015 in these colours. Maybe with some gold highlights if they can do it.

Just made it up from a frame image - lots of ways to do it really.
I had considered going the chinese route thats why I made up the Cordus pics as you can see inspiration from Baum Bikes - especially the green one at the top.

Could consider Fuerte Bici - a bit more expensive but fully painted and UK dealer for FM015 frame see http://fuertebici.com/site/?p=195Kev

Tony is sending it through with the grey and white paint and i'm leaving the black area as 3k carbon.
the decals are just rough at the moment as i have a friend in decal production who will be doing them properly.0 -

Looks good. You'll have to let me know when the frame arrives and hopefully you won't need the Adjustment Bureau or True Grit should the frame have any issues
And where you're getting the decals, as I'll need decals once I place my order.

ha! i'll give you a shout as soon as it arrives.
Graphics will be done by a local chap by the name of mike hill graphics, he is based on wood street and i've seen some great samples from him.
I'm hoping the frame has no issues, it should all be "fair game"0 -
I've almost finished the build now, but couldn't help taking a photo this morning,
Race Bike - Nearly completed by Surfrdan, on Flickr
I built this bike on a budget, which was funded in the main, by the sale of my MTB gears and suspension as I moved to hardtail singlespeed simplicity.
The frame is a 51cm FM015 from the FlyBike factory in China, Full Ultegra 6600 groupset with 170mm cranks, 39,53 chainset. FSA carbon seatpost, FSA carbon wrap stem, FSA shallow drop bars, Fizik Arione saddle and matching fizik white bartape (not in photo), Jagwire white cables throughout. Mavic Aksium race wheelset shod in Continental GP4000Ss0 -
Looks brill. Sorely tempted...
Anyone had any issues with customs?0 -
Not heard of a single customs issue in the UK after trawling all 200 pages of forum on roadbikereview. Mine worked out at about 290 quid delivered for frame, fork, headset, spare hanger0

STIs, brakes, chainset, bottom bracket, 1 new 6600 cassette, 1 older 105 5500 cassette, ultegra chain, ultegra SPD-SL pedals (well worn but replacement plastic trim supplied with) all came to 185 quid.
Bargain of the century if you ask me!0 -

Did you buy it through ebay or another website/ contact?0 -

Yeh that's about the size of it. The wheels I had already. Bike was ordered through Mina at Deng Fu via eMail and PayPal. Groupset was found on the Singletrackworld forum classifieds and the rest was bought new from various online retailers sales. It breaks down something like this:
290 Frame
185 Groupset (STW classifieds)
15 Stem (J E JAmes dirty Bike sale)
25 cables (ebay retailer)
37 Seatpost (BR Classifieds)
25 clamps/adapters (various)
45 saddle
10 bar tape
20 bars
plan on finishing it off with a set of 50mm tubs from Yichun for 300 quid soon.0
