Sadly, it's not under my control either, since idiots like kinelljohn seem to think I didn't know my own intentions when I started the thread.
Hopefully, having to add a short blurb will keep it on track, this time.0 -

I was really enjoying this thread up until this point, when you start insulting people! Give it a rest and get your thread back on track so we can all start enjoying the pictures again!!0 -

Cee why the hell you didn't ride there? I would, even if I failed and had fallen into that stream. Epic fail ! But that picture certainly does provoke me, my legs are twisting in convulsions. Highlands FTW.What could have been (Video)
I'll choose not put too much stake into someone's opinion who is admittingly terrible though0 -

As is often the case...the photo does not do justice to how round and slippy those boulders were....it was unrideable...(well...someone like Chris Akrigg might have made short work of it....but i aint him!)
Because getting soaked in very cold water, or worse...badly injured.. 30 miles into a 65 mile ride (in a place where really only a helicopter could get you out) is not ideal....
especially as mobile signal was nil.....in situations like that...poor decisions can actually kill you.
my attitude to risk totally changes up in the big moontins.......Whenever I see an adult on a bicycle, I believe in the future of the human race.

No no no, I see there is another rider lurking in a background. But photos do look sometimes tricky in that respect. Still as thread was intended, that pic does move.
Wish I've won at least a small lottery prize to go back to Highlands. You shcotts are so lucky, I can't believe it.What could have been (Video)

another from last weekend...
loop from Moulin (near pitlochry), Black Spout, over the river, Rob Roy Way, Edradynate then N' over the hills past Loch Derculich to Tummel opp Queens View. East to suspension bridge over the Tummel then W' along Glen Fincastle. Over the hill via Tomanraid, Ardt...ulichan & Shelloch. East along the S'side of the river to Killicrankie, over the bridge then drop down on to the river on the North side at the V' centre. Follow the riverside trail back to the town then up the road to Moulin.
Alas ground too soft / route too long / nobody had the enthusiasm for ascending Vrackie in darkness...
still ended up a shade under 35 miles.
Whenever I see an adult on a bicycle, I believe in the future of the human race.

A couple from me. I take loads of photos, here are a couple that I really like.
This is me sitting on a rock at Afan. My husband and I picked the wettest and most miserable week possible for our holiday this summer, culminating in a submarine ride of Whites Level. I was wet through and thoroughly fed up at this point. And yet, it remains one of my fondest cycling memories so far.
Afan again. Love this one, me and some friends on what turned out to be the last ride in nice weather this year. It is also the ride that one of my friends crashed and broke her sternum and some ribs...
This the view that the rider on the right is looking at.
Finally, me being rad on a Dirt Divas course. Small as this jump is, it represents a big leap for me! Hope they fit the remit
