  • no contador but he making a meal of it

    all over the bike

could be in for a surprise here might not win by a big margin at all...

I was thinking to myself..that's an impressive wiggle Contador has. How can he have such poor core stability? :?

Remember the final TT of the 05 Tour - Basso was faster than Armstrong at check 1.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. And Sastre vs. Landis was the same as well.

Looks like a bit of a headwind on the course, that will make it harder towards the end.

    Contador looks uncomfortable.

wiggins' time is actually going to look very good when only compared to the later riders. Commentators are saying how much the wind has increased.
There's some irony in the weather and start times here.

something wrong with Contador's bike - every 6 rotations he has to lift himself to the back of the saddle

Contador's definitely moving around on the bike more than usual.

The varying times – Schleck gaining time a couple of minutes ago, now Contador taking it back – may simply be due to a slight gradient on that part of the course, giving the false impression that one or the other is getting stronger.

When the time gap gets to about 25-30 seconds in Contador's favour we'll know that Schleck has cracked.

I don't know he keeps shifting back on the saddle quite a bit and rocking a little more than I think usual.
