I've just cranked this thing up for the last few kilometers and found very little to catch up on.
Tells you how bored you all are because you have reverted to the excitement of fighting amonst yourselves.
So not yet then, I'm off and will be back'

Boring stage but the scenery.... absolutely amazing.
I suspect it's going to liven up as the break hits the Col du Noyer.0 -
AG2R have a nice cold bath after the stage
According to Paul this is new 'technology'...Contador is the Greatest0 -

+1
They should give Harmon Kelly & Kirby the day off and get that Scottish bloke who does "Coast" to commentate on this0 -
Contador and Vino attack together whilst Andy is back doing unnecessary bidon duty!
Only kidding, still nothing happening, but I bet FF just jizzed in his pants

Yep, I love my cycling but this is why it will never be a mainstream TV sport (not that I want it to be). I'm used to it on flat stages but rely on the mountains for excitement. On the plus side I've managed to do a lot of work today. Agree on the scenery though, can't wait to go to the Alps next year for my hols0

How do you explain test match cricket?0 -

Do you have a link to this new tech??? My brain is imagining them all in a "cold" tub, having a cold beer. Although I have been know to take a cold shower after a long hot day riding and feel lots better(along with that beer or two). I'm old enough. Maybe I actually invented this "new" idea.0 -
whats everyone had for lunch? The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.0 -

How do you explain test match cricket?
There's always a chance of something happening next ball. Actually I find it like cycling in some ways, there's days where plenty happens and the match is in the balance and then other days where it's heading for a dull draw and everyone is just hanging around for the end.0 -
I hope those French fellows have got their chequebooks out.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0

Sure, but cricket is a major TV sport (or at least used to be) in this country, so there's no reason cycling couldn't be. Both can be exciting, but both are also punctuated by long boring spells where not much is happening.0 -

Iain -- how much did Basso want from Gibo?0

Is Aerts having a tilt at the dots? He's bagging a lot of mountain points. It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0

I wonder if any sprinters are still in this group.0

So how do you explain cycling is a mainstream TV sport in Belgium, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, etc, etc etc?
Besides, there's no need to watch the whole stage on a day like this; I don't; not everyone in England watches Stevenage vs Preston North End live, but football is still a 'mainstream TV sport'.0 -
Do you think Evans is saying to himself --"why didn't we go this slow yesterday?"0
-
Bouet needs more than an open chequebook to help him at the moment.0
-
I think everyone is still there aren't they? I'm tempted to say I could stay with them but I can't ride that far anymore0
-
Holy crap, I'd be walking down that descent.0
-
We've just had a huuuuge thunderstorm in Chester, so it's strange watching the sunshine in France on telly0
-
Yeah we had thunder in South Wales earlier too. Twas more exciting than the cycling.0
