I'd rather eat my own cheek than be seen on that Orange.

Remove it from my sight immediately.

    Very nice Mr Louse

Bar tape to match the saddle, or maybe those Brooks leather grips? tricky one...

    4_Grips_4_Colours.jpg

Grips are less faff, but tape might look cooler arrgghhh..

we have a bike with the brooks grips (grip shift  ) so i have mailed one of the buyers to see if we can get the tape. or should i splash out from CRC.

I think that that will be the result. may be double wrapped on the grip area.

it will also give some grip on the "forward" grip area

Could be worth hanging on to see if you can get the tape cheaper, it's freaking expensive, mind you so are the grips!

That is if you're not in a rush to get to the pub on yer bike

The more I see this project the more it makes me want to tart my pub bike up, new paint job, bars, brake levers, grips...

It's never ending... A bike project is not just for Christmas, it's for life

but now it is a bit too good for the pub!

and it all started out with a spare hub and a look for a rescue frame.

and riding the "shopping" bikes. You know the relaxed position where you arrive at XX without breaking into a sweat.

Yeah, kinda too nice for some pubs, perfect for some of the nicer pubs though

It's amazing what you can build staring from the smallest parts, they always seem to blow the budget though & end up far nicer than originally planned

Can't beat arriving in style & comfort without breaking a sweat

Thinking of OnOne Fleegle bars for my pub bike, are those Mary bars on yours, or something quite similar (CBA looking back in the thread to see what they are!)

the bars are something that was taken of another bike within the last 20 years.

Shop owner that does not bin bits.

Now does it get a kick stand or not?

Somehow it looks far less cool put together than I' imagined it. By cool, I mean "nice".
And by "nice" I mean, to my eyes.
