Your feed link didn't seem to be working when I clicked on it, so here's another

Feillu just out in front, just been a crash in the Peloton (about 28k? to go, hard to read the graphic on the feed)

    Euskaltel on the front

    Ouch!

Cav's fault, moved right across... you're not supposed to do that!

the slow motion of that crash is amazing as it was so close to the static finish line camera... you can see the value of helmets... The back of Hausler's head slammed into the ground and he was then hit by two flying bikes... You could see the Milram guy jamming the breaks as hard as he could, then fell

So, the stage livened up in the last 50 metres.

Cav rides into the back of Haussler................
........so, he was losing in anycase.

His season is on a knife edge. Boonan rides over his head and shoulder...

Cav moved across and his left crank arm caught Haus' front wheel taking them both down

Haussler was behind Cav wasn't he?

Cav went side by side with the Milram guy (Ciolek?) and went down?

Think the overhead suggests Cav was slightly in front, him swerving to left and Haussler going to right, albeit Cav moved over more.

Should be good pictures of that crash, they were in range of the photographers using 400mm lenses (i.e. watson and de waele)

    aye,poor cav the victim.
he had a quick glance and deliberately rode across ciolek and haussler-the sort of thing thor was complaining about last july. The crash was entirely cavandishs fault and i suspect if hed bothered to ride straight hed have won easily
