    The difference in climbing speeds has to be quite marked - 2.40 and growing with 2k to go.

    Lets see who wins. Maybe Scarponi has been working in return for the stage but then he would want to put time into the others as well so had his own reason to work.

    That's how the Giro works, you watch the race, it's exciting but you have to wait six months to be sure of the result :wink:
