How is it possible though that Liquigas can have that many riders when they are dropping top GC riders?
They're like ONCE or US Postal, no?

Sastre just doesn't have it in the 2nd half of the Giro. Too bad.

Come on Garzelli. Talent showing through right here in the big gun group - great stuff.

Re: Liquigas - maybe. but they're also all climbers and not a TTist among them. And Nibali's shown some incredible promise the last few years. The only one I'm really questioning is Basso.

    Did you see the TTT?

Even if Basso is clean and I believe he is, is his win tainted by being added by goofed up lackeys?

    Go Evans

    Like Sastre's Tour win?

    Go Evans and Basso.

Best GT, like ever. Or since 05.

Evans may or may not be done here. It's a long descent and he was a mountain biker.

Only if you think Sastre is clean. I have big doubts.

Hoping Evans is just pacing it a bit, catches up on the dee-scent then rides away on the final climb. Ahem.

    Nibali looks fresher than Basso.

Scarponi was never this good when he was under Manolo Saiz's guidance.

Wasn't much better in the first half either... just got lucky for a couple of days in the middle.

This is gonna be a repeat of the 2006 stage. For Simoni, read Scarponi. Wonder what Basso has in his pocket this time.

Sastre and Vino have caught Evans and passing him.
