What's your average speed?

Left a bit late tonight and so thought I'd time the ride as the traffic was a bit lighter. 6.6 miles in 26ish mins, so about 15mph avg. - that's from the City (London) to Hither Green, stopping at all red lights (and there were a few) and generally not being silly.

I could have done it faster if I was fitter, started to get a stitch coming through Deptford and slowed a bit after that. I did have 2 pints before leaving which probably didn't help, pretty happy with the time though.

i done a 86 mile ride sunday and averaged 20Mph with my mate all the way going down some lovely hills on the way!
