Batteries are dying on the 4 year old lights so thought why not..

I bought a set of those off eBay, bright as feck for the money

Good news!! How long do your batteries last out of interest? Only reason I've never bought a torch is because I assume the run time is a lot shorter than a lamp and battery pack!

I don't know to be honest, I've been out for a couple of hours no problem but then I just charge them up again for the next time.

I've looked at similar ones to those on Ebay too. Figured they'd be cheap enough to take a punt on - if they don't make great bike lights you'll still have a couple of decent torches.
  • Bloody amazing service from mighty lights! Turned up today!20140221_174453_zpsboyguggq.jpg

How much did they cost you in the end fella? and weight?!

It was £33 import and £460 I think for the wheels?
Not as light as I was expecting but on my fishing scales they come in 500g lighter than my temp wheels so approx 1650g pair.

  • Hmm.. are they the AM version or the XC version?

Wheel weights do my nut in, in reality claimed weights are nowhere near actual weights as you can't tell how they've weighed them

The AM ones, lovely profile, they set up tubeless straight away and with the track pump with no fuss at all.
I ignore most claims but do take Iit as a guide. Mavic ones are usually way out.

  • Here you go spongtastic:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bubble-Free-S ... 3a7c95ae50 This is the one i bought, its the matte version so its not as bright as the pictures but still looks really nice none the less.

    The seller: http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/union-mart-uk

But you can just ebay search "stickerbomb" as DNS said to get some other stuff aswell.

I would love to know how you get on with wrapping a whole frame. If you do go ahead, can you send me some pictures and let me know how it goes?

If i ever get a spare tenner im tempted to getting another set to do my Arrowhead frame, if i ever ride it again.

Two 180mm Shimano rotors off CRC

While preparing Tracey for Antur earlier today, i noticed the front rotor was warped. Must have happened at Gizzy. Luckily i have a spare 160mm in the odd and ends box.

Two pairs of Troy Lee Sprint shorts. They might have no proper pockets and they might be purple but they were only £20 so can't really complain :D

Also ordered a new seal for my Pro II freehub to try and stop water getting in every wet ride.

There's no redemption for owning a road bike. Go straight to Hell. Do not pass go. Do not collect £200...

I know a gay man with a motorbike.

I think this disproves your theory.

I bought an £8 (from £18) Decathlon boil in the bag waterproof, to use on the roadie but also on the MTB whilst my Mayhem jacket is back for a warranty repair.

Even if it did, being gay wouldn't be a bad thing.
