Cancellara, Boonan and Flecha clearly the strongest.

Boonen must be feeling strong, I was not expecting him to be this active, especially this far out.

  • Interesting to note that Fab keeps following wheels, when he feels good he usually forces the pace.

Possible explanation of why Boonen attacked, because Canc was so far back?

Guesdon is pretty hardcore to be in the mix given he won it 13 years ago.

I don't think he wants to show himself this far out... plus he may not be so great after Flanders so he's gonna have to pick his moment...

  • Boonen looks to be on incredible form... not a man to waste energy normally.

Hammond and Hunt look good too!

And who gets to the front and puts the hammer on. De Balen Express. Champion. All the others sucking wheels.

And Spartacus releases the power with 50km out. Champion.

  • Surely the chin cant take it on 50km out on his own? Can he?

  • Just seen on Twitter that Dan McLay came 2nd in the Junior race earlier, and Sam Harrison won the prize for best rider on the cobbles. Good results by both. Harrison is a top, top rider in particular.
