I always thought Cake Stop could be a bit, ahem, idiosyncratic but it's nowt compared to the other places is it? There's a world of 'internetz drama' out there. I'm staying here with mundane observations, girls in lycra shorts and discussions about cheese.

I miss the old soapbox section, could just leave all the loonies in there.

They've mostly replaced it with the "pro racing" section, but its just not the same.

I bow to your linguistic superiority. You're clearly way ahead of me, because I can't even find the word "didain" in the complete Oxford English Dictionary I carry in my left pannier!

No, its in the pompous "I can't spell myself, let alone slate anyone else dictionary" that I seem to have read and digested. I apologise and salute you as a victor.

That's OK: 'occasionally' is a difficult word to spell! I'd be quite proud to spell it myself!

It's looking quite nice here at the moment. I'll think of you as I go sailing past the stationary metal boxes in the city centre. Might even add five miles of prime peak-district countryside to my commute home this evening!

I`ve just done 30 miles and I wasn`t even commuting, just for the pleasure of it.

My point precisely: the 'happy in my little box with the heater going' line only works on people who don't like cycling :D

Well, I'm not one to gossip, but apparently, she's unemployed and is a bit of an internet nerd!

She's also married to an incredibly rich husband whom she ensnared by somewhat questionable means.

I read all that on the internet, so it must be true.

Apart from that, it's difficult to think of anything!

Thats better :D. Which is why I drive to and from work until its warm enough for me  . 15 mins on the bike or a little over 20 in the car plus up to 10 mins walk depending upon where its parked.

Edit; I love not many things more than leaving my house and returning after a 30 miler that took me nowhere in particular, other than leaving my house and returning after a 50 miler that has taken me nowhere in particular 8)

TBH, returning to the original allegation, 8.93 posts per day isn't really difficult.
If your contributing towards one of DDD's infamous threads you could easily post that many times on that thread in a day!

I'd hate to think how many posts I've made some days......just as long as my boss doesn't find out :-D

Or is just like Cake Stop but with membership cards? 8)

The best way to find out is to go and have a browse in it every now and then for a week. It's fairly London-centric with the trials and tribulations of close calls with pedestrians and cars in the capital, but branches out from there to be a bit like Cake Stop/Road Beginners/Buying Advice with a little less emphasis on being a weight weenie and more on CX bikes. It has perhaps a broader selection of riders (roadies, Cycle-crossers, fixies, hybrids, MTBers) to offer their experience on anything from tyres to trucks than the other forums.
