Here's my Ladybower Route, it avoids 'The Beast' which in my opinion may be too hard and technical for some of our group.

I think a route around the Castleton/Edale/Mam Tor area needs to be thrown together....

    Where's my map....?

    Up or down Cavedale!!

That's the one I was thinking of :D

Never done it and I hear it's a bit tricky in both directions

I did CaveDale once going up and it's on my list of never again! Mind you once you get to the top it turns into a nice ride.

Going down is a challenge, almost up there with the Beast and Jacobs Ladder.

i think for this one well stick to the ladybower best bits route
if the beast is in that route, then that bit will be altered

sounds though theres plenty of ideas for more peaks rides, and thats no bad thing

Regarding the Beast, I am NOT climbing up a hill just to walk down the bloody thing after! I aint riding no beast  ..you need full sus and full facer and armour to ride that descent !!!!!

Yes there is roo, just go straight on at hope cross, down potato alley and cross over to Rowlees farm and pick up the Lockerbrook descent from there.

Yeah...i hope its just bruises.....i have a charity ride of 28 miles to do on the 13th of this month and have collected loads of monies already so will have to do it...i rode for about 22 miles yesterday so i reckon even if my ribbies are fractured or broken i will still do it....its on the flats around the wirral so should be ok.
