When acknowledgement of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us.
We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you a "confirmation of order". We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason.http://www.georgesfoundation.org

Polite email refusal:We have received your order for the Boardman Elite TT 9.8 RC bicycle and I must apologise as this was a typing error on our website as the bike should be £4999.99 not the £499.99 listed, an error which has now been amended. If you would like to progress with the order at the correct price please let me know otherwise your order will now be cancelled with no need for a refund as no monies have been debited from your account. Sorry for the disappointment.http://www.georgesfoundation.org

Ridley test bikes with Very good reductions :
Fortunately for my credit card the geometry of the Orion indicates a long effective top tube - actual is 550mm (absolutely fine for me) but effective works out as 565 which is really about 15mm too much so a bike I don't have any need for, other than the the obligatory n+1, can remain unpurchased by me. Still sorely taken by the Ridley X-Bow 'cross bike I had a sit on yesterday.
Price works out as £770 or so I think - bargain ?!0 -

Not sure what to do with that info, maybe it's obvious and I'm having a slow day. Got a link? Or is it in a bricks 'n' mortar shop or something?0 -

Cyclesurgery doing buy one get one half price on tyres. Their OTT prices negates any savings, however, they have Continental Grand Prix (not GP3000) 700 x 23 on sale at £22.99 so you can get two for under £35.
ETA: The terms state non-promotional items only but appears to work regardless0 -

Some other nice alternatives there as well. I've been looking for some glasses for the extreme cold days (ones that cover the eyes completely. These may well be what I've been looking for.Chunky Cyclists need your love too! :-)

These look very similar to Smart branded lights. Not sure of build quality though.
From Planet-X.
If anyone has got any.... wouid be interested to see what they are like. Last week they were £5 reduced from £10. But now they are £2.50. Maybe they've had lots of customer returns??

Any day when glasses would steam up - mostly cold days when you're working hard. I think they are of limited effectiveness if I'm honest (at least the Oakley ones seem to be) - just as good to slide the glasses a few mm away from your face.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0 -

I've always found them to have far greater benefit when going backwards on water than going forwards on wheels.0 -

Using the 2 of the Astrum copies (twin LED) on my MTB and they are OK, not quite as well made as the RSP Astrum, but for £2-50, cant complain. Also got the cateye 5 LED copy for my son's bike - not so good as one failed after buying. Also bought the 3w front lights for family bikes, and they aren't bad at all - quite bright indeed (not Hope 1 territory).

Thanks MRS and Vermin, perhaps one more for running then, in terms of building up a sweat when it's cold - I do a fair bit of that too, so might still be useful.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

Considering the price of the cleats these seem like a steal if anyone fancies changing for SPD-SL.
Today only price I think0 -
They're the same price on CRC and a smidgeon cheaper at Ribble if you have a total basket over £35, so I don't think it's a one-off.
