    I could tell you that.

    But I'd be lying.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

It wasn't much cheaper than available at Rapha direct if you use the sky discount code that has been published on here somewhere (20% off).

I''ve not had a chance to try my winter jersey yet, but it is a thing of beauty. Almost like a jacket in that it's very substantial, and feels extremely well put together. Planning on heading out early tomorrow so will give it a whirl.

Must say that the standard long-sleeve jersey from Rapha is absolutely wonderful. First outing yesterday - beautifully made; good in the breeze; and, good temperature regulation. Really chuffed with it.

  • Thanks a lot Fuggler an Principe, just what I did not want to hear. ;) Does anybody know of any other bargains on long sleeve jerseys/light jackets with wind panels? Chest 90cm.

Always happy to be of service!!

Torm.cc are good value for money for jerseys. Long sleeved is 50 quid I think. Nicely made and very comfortable. Understated too.

What I will say is that there's a lot of difference between a Winter jersey and a long sleeve jersey. The Winter looks like it'd be good all on it's own in cold conditions, whereas the long sleeve would require a gilet/jacket.

Being slightly larger, I run quite hot, which is why I went for the long sleeve rather than the winter jersey. I think I'll be fine with the jersey and a baselayer down to 0 degrees, because I tend to overheat. If you're at the fitter end of the scale (like Il P) you might want to go for the winter jersey for cooler conditions. Horses for courses...

    Almost all.

The odd thing is, I've found KMC chains don't last at all, whereas Shimano ones are fairly good.

To continue the Sport Pursuit referral trend, here is mine!

They have a sale on Planet X Gloves and Overshoes at the moment. Abus locks as well.

Edited to add: their standard overshoes are oddly still £2 cheaper through Planet X direct (on sale there). Gloves slightly cheaper through Sport Pursuit.
