If anyone doesn't want one of the Cervelo R5's but has a spare £1750 knocking about then you can buy 3500 loaves of Soreen.

Its always 2 for £1 at iceland! I know - I have a cupboard full.

25% of certain items at halfords - I'm aware they should be avoided like the plague, but I needed a variety of tubes. Order online collect in store.

Seemed a great deal. Slightly annoyed that just before that I bough 2 tubes at £2.99 each on CRC  Ah well, never have too many tubes!

Damn, missed out on the tubes, was going to order last night but thought they'd still be here this morning. The Pro 4 deal is pretty good, missus is after a couple new tyres, may point her that way. Anyone know how easy they are to get on/take off? My Pro Race 3 isn't quite as easy to fit as an Ultremo ZX.

  • Anyone feeling spooky should get down to their nearest Morrisons, as they have musical pumpkin lights for the tiny sum of £3.98, apparently over 50% off. They're actually not as rubbish as you think, they fair belt out a church organ playing Bach when you press the little button.

    Last night I bagged :
CRC Conti tube pack plus their Pro Race 4 set with the tubes ; bargain-tastic.

Also just paid a visit to Morrisons - the spooky skeleton-head lights are pretty good, probably scare my younger daughter - maybe the dog too ! Well worth £3.98
  • Those Morrison's lights wouldn't scare me. I'm sure their Bach is worse than their bite

  • Start Fitness have Scott Team (road) shoes for 70 quid.
  • Sorry, forgot to post this earlier: Bike Palast (the Austrian one) have top-end Scott frames 40 per cent off. Even more bargaintastic deals for youse Britishers what with the weak euro.

Any comment on the sizing for Scott shoes ? Here, http://www.cyclesuperstore.ie/shop/pc/v ... ?idpage=45 it's indicated that they are slightly small.
For info I've generally managed a 43 and have had 2 pairs of size 43 Carnacs.
Edit to add - but for a pair of Diadora boots I'm running size 46s - that gives a very nice and generous sizing.
Edit x 2 - I need more shoes like a hole in my head but I have trouble ignoring bargains !

Lots of decent RH+ kit plus Giro shoes at up to 50% off on Sportpursuit - if you like the deals please join via my referral link below and if you buy something next time I buy something I'll use your link, earning us both a fiver. Recently bought a RH+ team vest and quite impressed for the price, and considering topping up on biblongs while they're on cheap. Also some killer deals on Dynastar skis and Dakine backpacks if you're a skier, sadly I have more pairs of skis than bikes and can't justify n+1 on skis right now.

I've been pretty shameless too. I didn't realise there was a 5 pound each way link. How does that work?

Those giros are soooo tempting. Just noticed how to edit your referral link. Cunning!

Given I've already got a pair of plain white Factors it would be over kill to get a red and white pair wouldn't it? But then I have just bought a red and white bike.....
