A quickie re these turbos - I’ll be Zwift or similar on iPad or windows laptop, I an ant+ adaptor required or is a Bluetooth connection fine? I’m totally unfamiliar with smart trainers hence the dumb question re what I’ve just purchased!andyrr said:Snagged one of the Jet Black Volts at Sports Direct - too much of a bargain to ignore, hopefully no issues that require their involvement.
Also, I think if you have an hr monitor that is ant+ only, it can rebroadcast that on Bluetooth.0 -

Love the look of the Torm products though always found Merino directly against the skin itchy. Pricey.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
I thought Spatz were reasonably well known, especially since a certain Mathieu vdP (and Philipsen) have been wearing their overshoes and possibly mitts for a few years now.

The wonderful Isadore have quite a good sale on currently, including some jerseys at 50% off.
https://isadore.com/
Also note, that they have a UK warehouse now, so no extra fees/charges, and shipping is free over a certain amount, £75 I think it might be.

Wiggle have the Raddoppia 3 for only £125 in yellow and small only.
Severely tempted, but then I have an original Raddoppia and an Alpha Ros 2, so can't justify it.
Bargainous though, and 5 or 6% cashback through tcb too.
Under £120 for a quality winter jacket that had an RRP of £260 is quite a deal to my mind.

It is, but on sale I find it very palatable, and fully expect my Isadore jerseys to *last me ~20 years.
The cut, quality and materials are top notch, and the branding to my eye is very subtle.

I think cost around £15. Team Once in yellow fwiw. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

I have a Clas-Cajastur winter jacket bought in November 1993 from the wonderful Dave Kane cycles in Belfast. Boy that was an Aladdin's cave. It's made out of space suit material and I have no idea how many miles I did in the thing. I still have it and very very occasionally wear it though it has long been superseded by modern fabrics.pblakeney said:

I picked this up on Daniel's recommendation back in March, but only got round to wearing it properly this week. It's fantastic for cool, drizzly showers.daniel_b said:Castelli Go cycling jacket, touted as a bit of a perfetto with a slightly more relaxed fit plus a front pocket - £220 down to £69.
Perhaps a good light touring/gravel jacket?

Currently all sizes available, some colours have more limited sizes that others, and don't forget to go through TCB.
Here is the best one if you're unsure:
Absolute bargain, still available at that price in a range of sizes and colours (including Dan's favourite). As mentioned, it's a relaxed (but not baggy) fit - I went for the Large, which is usually a snug fit for me in Castelli. I can put an extra layer under if I want.
Minor critcism - back pockets don't have any drain holes, so might collect water in heavy rain. May pop some eyelts in if this is a problem.1
