I've never ridden carbon wheels before so wonder about the descending, although I've read good things about the Cosmic SLs. Did you happen to notice if they'd fitted specific brake pads for use with them? Cheers.

Yes and No .
I to am looking for a bargain , however if one is posted then subsequent post comment on the deal , like it is cheaper elsewhere or i bought one and they are great/crap etc all adds to a considered purchasing decision.

It does seem tragic, but maybe not so much as meta discussions that tend to draw more people in and drag on longer....

Hmm, my Lezyne 600XL appears to have just died so this is tempting.

I'm not a huge fan of lights with fixed mounts though, makes it a faff to move between bikes!

For any campy fans....if i was interested in converting tt bike to eps 1x. What other bits would i need not on PX?

I bought this last year. Front light pretty good, plugs straight into USB socket on your PC so no cable needed at work. Plenty bright enough if street lit and not raining, but not quite enough otherwise, especiallyif your over 50!. Rear pretty good but charger cover soon fails. Rear mount ok for a seatpost but I wanted to mount mine vertical on the back of my seat pack so swapped it out for the belt hook from a tape measure. Front mount excellent.

Aye that looks a decent set of you need the front light as well, but I've got three front lights already.

I like running at last 2 rear lights, sometimes 3, and wanted to get some spares in the the kids bikes, they seem intent on losing them at the moment.

I think you'll struggle this time of year - don't forget the Castelli Idro and also 7Mesh Oro use the same fabric, although the latter seems to be VERY thin on the ground.

Maybe 3 months ago there was a few new ones on ebay that went for circa £100, but looks like they have all been and gone now :-(

If you search threads for packable waterproof jacket, I'm pretty sure there was an Endura alternative mentioned.

A while ago, I bought dhb's eVent rain jacket. I really dislike it. It's boil in the bag even at what I recon is 155 bpm. If you then stop "pushing", or started descending after a reasonable effort, it's easy to get cold from your own sweat. Not recommended.

I'm unsure if these Shakedry jackets really are the bee's knees, although many here really rate them.

It's more the "dogstar" style at £13 each I like - aldi had those for £9.99 each last year (although with metal heat sink body instead)
