I don't mind a few of their flavours of the tabs.
However, I've noticed that they have glusomaine and chondrin in, and this makes it quite a bargain - 1 years worth for a tenner.
Except they appear to have crashed the site...Intent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

The same here, except mine's already been delivered!0 -
This stuff's going the way of energy drinks; loads of people in the office are wandering round with protein shakes for no apparent reason. Big business now. Quite surprised to see how much shelf space Tesco are giving it; people buying whey protein and BCAAs with their weekly shop.
As an ageing bimbler I'm more of a banana / fig roll / jelly baby / squash with a bit of salt kind of cyclist.0 -

Yeah, it's not good. Current push with a "plant based diet" /flexitarian/vegan thing appears to be "make sure you get enough protein"...
I know a lot of people who've gone vegetarian, then struggled with protein intake so buy protein bars /drinks instead, missing that they are typically milk based, and also full of "energy".Intent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

Someone else recently spotted a Spesh mtb pair for £35 too, but can't remember where.0 -

I think my tatty 4 year old shimano rt82s are being held together by my toe covers, so also interested!
Darn, just realised that RT82 is discontinued and sold out everywhere and replacement RT5 is pants. I wish i'd stocked up with a spare pair at 45 size!0 -

Not many Cube Attain GTC Pro Disc 2017s left now, these look strong competition from spec and price.

Yep, just bought (and instantly sent back a pair of RT5s). However keep an eye on eBay, I just picked up a set of NOS RT82s for £50 (size 44)0 -

Except they appear to have crashed the site...
Eventually ordered an 8 pack of Pineapple And Mango Hydro tabs and 3 packs of Glusomaine/Chondrin for £14.
Plus, of course, my "free" pill box...
Edit - Well, I thought I did. Turned out I didn't, and by the time I went to complete the order the £30 off had expired ( 18:00) , so I cancelled the lot.Intent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

Rats. Thought "ending today" meant midnight not 1800. Anyone got a Sky bottle they didn't really want?
Good work spotting this in the first place guys. Keep up the good work.0 -

The offer is now £30 off £60 so about 60 pounds worth of cancer inducing chemical stuff for £12
Just used this to buy 3 x 1kg of SIS Rego @ £72 for £20.40. I normally get it reduced but this is giving it away . Nice One SS.
It’s not as cheap as that now the offer has finished. But, some flavours are reduced to £13.99 per kg if you go through the Football site, then with BC discount you can get 3kg for £29. Still well under half the normal price.0 -

You and me both. I had actually cancelled an order earlier in the day when I spotted that getting 4 mixed hydro tabs twice was cheaper than a box, thinking "i'll re-order this evening".
Kicked myself hard. Very hard. (Well, I would, if my knees worked properly, which is why I wanted the glucosamine/chondrin)Intent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

Ordered some of the Northwave Arctics, probably now to stay in their box until next winter. Will have to see how the sizing works out. A few people seem to suggest that they are quite loose fitting so I've gone a size down from my Shimano shoes (which are always ridiculously small fitting).0 -

I've got a pair of the Northwave TH Raptors (the shoe version of the winter boot). Size is pretty good lengthways but I find them very wide compared with other cycling shoes. I have had a pair for several years and to be honest I found the sizing true and possibly would have gone up a size to allow thicker socks.0 -

Sounds like they may be ok then. Need to have sufficient room for the obligatory Woolie Boolies and in my experience it's important to have plenty of wriggle room in winter shoes.0 -
