In all honesty I hate Haribo, so stash them until my nephew comes round, and then I heap them upon him in bags, and he wolfes them or takes them home
Now if they sent Wispa bars or chunky Kitkats, that would be another subject, and I would probably have to block their website somehow.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

If you look there is Camelbak, Continental tyres, Garmin, Gore, Lezyne, Sealskinz, Shimano etc - so I think thats a bit harsh!
Of course, I dont know how good their prices are to start with - 30% off may still be more than stuff would be elsewhere - I cant be bothered to check although I had a quick look at a couple of Lezyne items and they seem cheaper than the usual suspects.0 -

So, be aware that they can be difficult with returns. Danielb should certainly avoid them.0 -

I had already purchased it when the email was sent out, thanks to the chap on here who was asking about frame sizes.
Only had a few sizes in stock and only gloss white in my size (54.5 / 56cm).
Will see what it looks like once delivered. Don't really need the bike but too cheap to pass on.0 -

Size large only.

Essentially a light weight Gabba.
Wore this in on my morning commute with just a Rapha merino base layer.
Absolutely awesome jersey. So much lighter than a Gabba and just as warm IMO. Very similar to the Rapha Shadow jersey.
I'm 6ft, 88kg and a large is perfect on me.
They have XL back in stock now too.
I urge anyone wanting a good winter jersey to invest in one of these!0 -
What of your arms? And this has no flap at the end of zipper, does it not irritate your neck?0

You got me there - I wont testify to their reputation either way, although am not surprised to hear it isnt great.
I actually used their prices to get a price match on a £200 pair of hiking boots and some Superfeet insoles that I got from Cotswold Outdoor last Saturday for 20% off (they price match up to 7 days after purchase), so really happy as I just got £25 back.0 -
Go outdoors price match is really good at times. Price matched a pair of goretex lined approach shoes rrp £125. Found it for £85 online so they matched it then took another 10% off. Only they used the full price to work it out. Cost me something like £76 for shoes that I've not seen in any shop for less than £110 since they've been made (including the two older versions when they were new). Also got moon lights reduced from £60 to £26 once. Price matched online shop and knocked off ten percent on top. I reckon on always get a minimum of 25% off through price match. Genuine reductions too.0

haha, missed your reply TM!
I did by a Gore One from them a month or so back, think it cost me £140 or a bit less, but decided I could not live with the dark colour, so took it back to a Blacks store intown before work one day.
They were unable to refund me there, as it was not an item they stocked, but it got sent off to head office, and I recieved a full refund, and e-mail confirmation in a timely manner, no bother at all.
Biggest delay was for the chap trying to photocopy the return form for me to take a copy away.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

Took us half hour of waiting for forms to be found, printed, filled in and receipts printed. Manager then had to sign, cardholder who paid for it had to sign. Then came the request for personal contact details like email address, mobile phone and landline number. Whoosh! He got both barrels from my partner. "why do you need that information?", "no you don't need that!", etc, etc etc. Privacy is a big thing. Just mail the cheque! I took our son for a walk to the other end of the shop as world War III happened. Preemptive strike totally surprised the manager. But she had a point, the returns process was stupid to the nth degree
BTW it was another blacks retail brand but had labels from all their retail brands in store so I suspect it was mid conversion to blacks.0 -
mamil314 wrote:What of your arms? And this has no flap at the end of zipper, does it not irritate your neck?
Arms feel quite big due to half the sleeve being windstopper and half a mesh type material. It's so light, it feels loose but isn't. Dunno if that made sense.
As for zipper, there's an internal flap, so nothing metal against skin.0 -

Ah ok, guess I got lucky in that case - suppose it has the potential to be pretty variable, bit like what quality of mechanic you might stunble upon in a Halfords or an Evans.
Or perhaps they have simplified it since then?
The chap filled out the sheet, I just had to sign it, and then he photocopied it with the return label codes so I had something to trace it with if there were any issues.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)
