Wow, 10% BC discount plus top cashback at 2.3%, and I make that £1833. Quite the deal.

Under 7.4kg for the 53cm, would be pretty easy to get that down to 6.8kg or less.

I currently ride a 54cm Cannondale Supersix, would this fit me? Whats the sizing like?

    Yeah.
But you'd be seen if you ever rode it.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I bought one of those and sent it back because the back is all black - the front looks OK as well.

I can't quite recall if the back of most of them are black, or what mine is.

Shame that, for me, this is the dullest of all the colour schemes - otherwise I would have picked one up in Large for my bro.
I have the Laurel one which is pretty nice imho.

I know the colour is not the be all and end all, far from it, but if I'm spending £ I want it to be something I want to wear.
I could ignore that if it was just for commuting duty etc etc, well black rear aside I guess.

Back is black on all of them. Thats the reason why I dont have a second one in red. I bought a laurel one when they first came out and red wasnt available then. I love it so much that I would buy another but am put off by the back and waiting to see if that changes in the future.

I dont like this colour that is going cheap at Evans though, added to which I would imagine the white parts to get grubby quick quickly for something that is a potential foul weather garment. otherwise I would possibly buy one for my son.

The black back and lack of any reflectives seem to be a glaring failure in what is otherwise an amazing garment.

The Evans deal is a great price but I entirely agree that white is a poor colour and will soon stat looking terrible with general road dirt and spray and oily or sweaty fingerprints.

The other colours are currently available for £95 on Wiggle when the Saver10 code is used.

Intersting - wonder if that is why it is so reduced, as it's not a popular colour way.

    Hi Joe,

    I'm a UK Size 10, and run normal Mavic's in a 45 1/3, or their Maxi (wider) range in 44 2/3.

Hope that is of some help.

They are Uvex Sportstyle 202 Race vario, according to the order confirmation! They were about 3/4 of the way down the page on the Canyon clearance.

The RRP of £150 seems a bit high on the Canyon site, and it's £6.99 delivery, but they do seem to be well reviewed, and a good £30 cheaper than elsewhere.
  • You know you need to eat more pies when Castelli is too big for you. Snapped up a black Small Perfetto long sleeve after getting a pricematch on the ones posted a few pages back. Anyone want it for the £100 and can collect from near Canary Wharf?

Without wanting to stray into Roadbuyingadvice, any brand make really skinny stuff but that still has reasonable length? I had an XSMall Rapha winter jersey but it seemed a little short.

£6.99 delivery? Sod that, pushes what I was looking at into above RRP territory.
Looked like a good sale on the face of it.

Their rrp seems to be inflated some what, so worth a quick search to check if something really is a good deal.

I've gone for one of these from Canyon to replace my ageing Edge 500. Looks like a gargain to me for £80.

Huge reduction for you if you are a lady, or for the lady in your life of course.

    Castelli Elemento 2 7X Jacket - reduced from £290 (!) to £115 - plus cashback of course.

Only in Blue, in Small and Medium.
7x(Air) is a fabric construction technique Castelli invented in which they quilt their WindShear fabric to give added air permeability through thousands of quilting holes. You won't actually feel the windflow in the Castelli Women's Elemento 2 7x(Air) Softshell Jacket; you'll just feeling drier.

The 7x(Air) fabric technology meets Alpha construction to make your ultimate winter jacket.

I nearly jumped at that as my son's after a GPS and was debating an Edge 520 for £170. But having done a bit of homework I think he'd want the newer 'Enhanced' version which will do Live Segments on Strava plus give you turn by turn directions if paired with a smartphone. Only came out last year so it's £130 everywhere, but it looks/sounds good. DC Rainmaker gives it a glowing review. And with the £40 he saves he can buy a Rapha sock or something.

But if you don't want those features, the older unit is a bargain at < £80

Is the price on the gels too good to be true? £3.95 on an RRP of £42.95? I'd worry about the use by dates at that rate!

Gels go forever, I'm not even sure if there is anything natural in them which could go bad. Maybe you should team up with some local cyclists the you can split the box/cost of postage between you.

The price of the Vector 2 looks very inviting, I'm wondering if it would work without the left pedal...
