They look good. I'd be happy with 1 fo £12.50, but I've got no use for 4!

Hey all - just bought a few things from http://www.bspoke.co.uk at a rather tasty 70% off - got a couple of merino blend tops (quarter zip £15, a really nice full zip top £18 ), a pair of teflon coated cotton overshorts (which are verrry smart in the flesh) for £14 and a pair of retro faux-leather full finger gloves for £7. Highly impressed with the design & quality of the finish, especially at the price (so is my fine lady, who has bought a top & some trousers - just in case she ever starts cycling ) the pics on the website really don't do the gear justice, I was rather pleasantly surprised when it arrived!

    I found a campag chart here, which helped a little (although looking at my measurements it's about a size too small) :roll: ;
    http://www.evanscycles.com/product_docu ... -chart.pdf

I'm normally a (slightly tight) medium in t-shirts, but "sized up" to a large and got it right, happily.

FWIW, although I couldn't see anything about it on their website, according to my invoice they operate a 14-day "for any reason" return policy.

Don't understand the sizing though, my hands are about 10cm across the largest bit but acc to the size guide, even small is suitable for people with 20cm hands - are they catering for giants?! I don't know anyone with hands double the size of mine!

    Total circumference around the knuckles.

Mine measure to about 21cm around the knuckles and I got a medium. They fit very well. The medium is marked up as a glove size 9 if that's any help?

EDIT - I reckon I'd probably fit a small pretty well as well due to the stretchy nature of the back of the glove.

    Ah OK, I'm large then - 23-24cm

I bought the shorts - be aware that they are kind of tighter round the knee, they taper, which is fine, but not like normal shorts. Well made though, stitching is strong, fabric thick and zip is YKK.

Also bought a cap which is 1 size only and a little tight on my head, leaves me with a "lobotomy line" if I wear it for a while! Also very well made, waterproof exterior and lined with thermal stuff.

The merino tops are nice, the fabric seems quite thin though and they are certainly not cycling specific. The blurb says that they have a lower back piece and longer arm length for cyclists but mine just seem to be cut like a standard T shirt with a half zip at the front. It's fine because I was half intending to wear them more as something to put under a jumper for day to day use anyway, but not necessarily perfect for cycling...

The shorts sizes are blatant lies.
They've obviously been bribed by fat people to make themselves feel better.

The 30" actually comes out as a 38". Not happy.

    Posted too soon.

Just checked the other set I bought. That comes out as a 35" waist. Awesome.

Unless any fat people with size complexes want to step forward, I'll be returning these tomorrow.

If the size is supposed to be as small as the jeans in your picture, why would a fat person even buy a size that small.

That sizing is clearly to convince not so fat people they are in actual fact massive hippos who have to join weight watchers or similar to loose weight.
