It has been born! Picture and some info on the link above.
Love the SRAM - glad you convinced me of that. Can't wait to take it out for a proper ride now.

    night all :-)

That looks fantastic, although I'd stick with a black saddle personally.
Front is white and the black saddle blends in nicely with the darker rear end.

What do I know though. I bought a green bike...

too late! already ordered white saddle. I may keep black on for a while though - well, until we get into nicer weather.

I was putting my old bike together again and realised I didn't have any skewers as they're now on the Litespeed. I looked on wiggle for some and found these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/SRAM_ ... 360039911/
titanium / SRAM = perfect for my new bike!

Are all skewers pretty much equal?
  • Popette have a look at some kcnc skewers before you order they are half the weight of sram for the same price and put them to shame in the bling department.after using kcnc on my mountain bikes i wouldnt use any other. pound for pound nothing compares. they have a real sweet action to them aswell.

Steel internal cam QR's, as made by Campagnolo, Shimano, and a few others, function much better than aftermarket ones with large exposed cams. BIke shops usually have some of the cheaper (less shiny) ones taking up space, which they may sell cheaply; otherwise posher (shinier) ones from Record/Dura-Ace ranges are available.I think they also look much nicer than the fancy anodised stuff.
  • Hey big D have you rode the new cervelo yet? im waiting for the full review ??
im building a bike from scratch instead of buying a factory built thing and still have my frame options well and truely open.

I posted my first impressions from a very short ride today in the 'Your Road Bikes' section.

To say I was very very impressed is an understatement.

    Believe the hype folks!
