Methinks another organized group ride in the New Year will be in order so everyone can show off their new bikes n' stuff!

Now - MY white saddle is actually smeared with red. No - not from too many harsh rides  but from the graphics getting wet and rubbing off!

You might have to hold off on the white saddle until the summer.

    Can't get a good pic :(

Can't find the camera, not seen daylight since Sunday...

I've sent a picture to wiggle - I hope they can send me another fork (I know that it was the last frame of my size so no chance of that being replaced).

Unless you are lucky and the UK Litespeed Distributors have a white fork and they are fast moving, it'll probably mean a wait for a fork to come from the US.

Wiggle will probably have Easton forks in stock, but Easton only make them without paint and sell them lacquered with decals - Litespeed actually paint over this themselves.

Wiggle should sort you out, and hopefully they'll sort you out quickly.

NapD - I think the pic probably breaks all the so called rules of bike shots but it looks damn good anyway - the kind of bike which, when on a sportive, your eyes follow involuntarily while your mouth drops open a bit :)

Tom, thanks for the useful info. I hope they let me carry on with this one in the meantime. Imagine having new frame and all the new bits but not being able to put it all together and ride it! Wiggle still have a few other smaller sizes available - perhaps they could take a pristine fork off one of those and then wait for a replacement from the US in their own time. I will ask.

Colin - group ride would be great - you organising?

Better have a look, see if I can find some diet pills on sale!

Can do! Will get the list of people on the last one from Alex and see who wants to come out.

Will see what we can do for mid-January. See what the weather does to us between now and then!

  • I'd best get the miles in. It's as though I've never actually turned a pedal before at the moment. You can count me in though.

mid-feb is good for me too. Gives me a chance to lose the christmas bulge.

Wiggle got back to me today to offer me a £40 voucher or a refund. Not very impressed to be honest. I have emailed them back to express my disappointment and I'm waiting to hear what they say. In the meantime, I have got a good deal from another shop - about £100 more expensive than wiggle but hopefully perfect. Sods law, i'll take a chunk out of it on my first ride.......

Yes people - once the snow clears and everyone has had a chance to get some miles in their legs, we'll do an official BikeRadar Internet Forum Geek ride! For real.

But at this rate it'll be in March.

    Hopefully I'll be home.
No talking about FTP, TTS or CTL.....
In fact, I may leave Powertap at home, to avoid being shadowed by Bhima trying to video my readout, so he can apply an equation (plucked straight from his a*se!) to to the wattage, and use it on his rollers!
