Dunno, probably, as for FF, I still need stuff to bleed the brakes, bigger forks and knee/shin pads before that.

I also don't know what Saint Branches is, is that the bit next to the graveyard?

Yes, you sir stand correct. Anyway, will try to get Helter's attention for a ride. Seems as if Plaisir is itching to join us too. Supra and Dkenny out of action though. Not sure about Naveed, but the man definately would enjoy tourist trails. Njee looks like will smoke you out on XC big time, so Atz can laugh. While Buckaroo, not sure if the man would show up.
Somehow not too many people ride these days, so many gone missing.

I'm not fat and lazy, I'm just... wait, actually that's pretty accurate. My hand is a lot better this week (despite the chipped knuckle) finally but it's not like that stopped me riding really. The weather though, definitely did. Don't mind it raining once I'm out but going out when its already raining isn't really my thing.

Might actually ride to Earls Court if I go; should only take an hour on the SS and it's about the same on the train.

Yup supposed to be dry, according to thel33ter, but what does he know. Maybe make a checklist now. Helmet - check, bike - check. Brain - mmm two out of three ain't bad.

    @Sandy Hill. mercenary. It's Sunday.

  • My back is finally realigned so I'm a tentative +1 for sunday. Only problem is that I'm badly out of shape after a couple of months out so will be going slooooooow!

Found it a struggle even just having two weeks off. Didn't take long to get back into it though. But then I go and join you and end up out of action again :(.

Annoying. Should be hot this weekend! (23C according to BBC this morning).

Your words to the God's ears !

Sandy Hill, it's the biggest sin ever ... to work on Sunday. Good people go to church.

It does looks as if it will be bone dry, suppose pace on trails will be pretty fast. Especially as we have racing snakes around, shame Greg is missing but his duties will be handled to Thel33ter. Looks as if it will be intensive riding, at least on climbs which I may preffer to walk? But boy oh boy, no breaks inbetween descending trails! If you get an arm pump, carry on and prey for mercy to sweet Lord ! Cooldad definately will ride behind lazy with a stick of justice.

It's been pouring with rain for almost 2 weeks solid. It's definitely going to be wet and muddy, it just won't be raining :)

I don't think it'll be that muddy, I may be up there tomorrow evening, I'll report back...

It wasn't hugely muddy on Saturday, just a fair bit of standing water, as long as that soaks in we should be alright, and it does look as if the weather's going to perk up for the weekend.
There are some lil diversions at Pitch hill and YogPots which will serve you plenty.

Is that the old one that goes left from the top of one of the bombholes? Steep bombhole, 90 degree left, smaller bombhole? Not ridden that in years!

Njee I could join you tomorrow for a quick blast. What time do you plan to hit Peaslake?

As for that route you talking about, in my eyes it's a Parklife.

I'm meant to be out in the evening on a group ride, which would be meeting at 7, although as the weather looks good I was thinking of heading out in the afternoon, maybe 1 at Peaslake? Welcome to join if you're around!

    Alright peeps,

Think I'm 98% recovered now, but I have to admit that I'm kind of holding out on the rigid mtb as it's probably going to kill my arms. Should be out soon though.

So should be 100% by Sunday. Wouldn't worry about tghe bike, could be chaotic anyway. thl33ter is using his new untested bike, I was going to try out his Kona - finally will get a chance to try out a La Z Boy.

@bungalistic - does that mean you will be there?

    Erm, kinda...

It's hard to go from a full suss to fully rigid, it's the biking equivalent of going cold turkey! Kind of like going from Sainsburys branded Ice Cream to Ben & Jerrys.
