He may have gone to B&Q for BBQ stuff. Or may not. B&Q stock quite a wide and diverse range of lifestyle products nowadays.

Merak is one of the stars in Ursa Major. I looked at a De Rosa Merak once. Venus has been very bright this month.

I pointed Venus out to a mate the other evening while noting how bright it looked. I had to use t'internet to prove to him that it was Venus after he burst out laughing at me

In the services on the M6 yesterday at 2pm... in walks a bloke drinking blue WKD and sporting an Argentina football shirt with the text on the back: "Los Islas Malvinas".

    I'm assuming he was Scottish.

Strangely my BBQ did come from B&Q although I get my steaks & burgers from Tesco.

If you are feeling ill, eating 2 packets of Pringles will not help you get better.

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

There are no better lyrics in Rock than
"Oh the gal I'm to marry is a bow legged sow
I've been soakin' up drink like a sponge."
Rolling Stones - Dear Doctor - Beggars Banquet

For that matter, no better Rock(or blues) album than "Beggars Banquet".

"Let it bleed" and "Exile on main street" beat Beggars Banquet.

The noise level at the swimming pool reached a peak of 95dB today. At last, I've found a use for the sound recorder on my mobile phone.

Thats nice. Its really good when someone gets to utilise their phones in a different way.

I used my "Maps" app on my Blackberry, to find where I was the other day when I left Headcorn and wanted to short cut to Biddenden.

I vomited after eating a pack of Pringles in 2001. Have not eaten a single one since.

210 kCals in 500ml of Coke.

    35 kCals per mile.

    1 bottle = 6 miles.

    Now that's a mundane observation.

Sainsbury's have started leaving the stalks on their cherry tomatoes. They used to come without stalks.
I can't help but think that as they're sold by weight I'm paying for those useless green things and I then have the hassle of removing them.
