As i said yesterday in another post. All these Twitters have been so disrespectful to Bertie. A team should be united for one cause, to support the strongest rider and Armstrong, Johan and Levi have constantly undermined the poor boy...

Can't wait for him to stick 2 fingers up at them all... i just wish he was the sort of person to dish the dirt when he leaves..

It's predicted the storms near Lyon will blow over towards Annecy, possibly in time for the GC leaders.

Karma would see Freiburg's star student Andreas Kloeden struck by lightning

Nothing can touch, "The Phantom", he's almost invisble.
The weather is obviously part of Satan's tactics.
Cloud burst over the last 3 riders, Bradley brought down by a guy with huge antlers.

Garmin. They need wins, and I think they have enough attitude to deal with the vortex that is Lance.

Matt White kills me. I wish he would fire up the team (they all seem to tune him out), the way he handles the media.

Wasn't there once some rumour about Bruyneel's magical Vermicelli Soup?

Seem to remember hearing that Voeckler, when it was suggested he try Bruyneel's version, said he preferred to make his own vermicelli soup.
  • I'll still eat your hat, just for the hell of it. What news at Annecy?

Radar shows rain out to the west is starting to move in and may reach Annecy in an hour and a half. Always difficult in thundery situations though.

The Col de Bluffy is causing real problems to the riders, they are struggling in places. Tony Martin was setting some of the best times around the course only to slip several places on the climb.

Stating the obvious, Millar's said the course's flat parts suits the TT specialists and that the climb is for the climbers but what he meant was that the flat section was so fast he didn't have a big enough gear - I hope Wiggins's mechanic is informed - and that the climb is a nasty effort that no rouleur can tackle. Millar also tipped Wiggins for the win.

Given the flat section is so fast, the specialists are cruising at 60km/h, I suspect the Schlecks might lose a fair chunk of time.

He should go to Silence; they'll be looking for a new leader soon, and that outfit seems to get the best out of their riders.

George is SUPER tough. Wow. He likely has a broken collarbone but refuses to see the doctors or get an x-ray because if they tell him it's broken, he'll have to stop racing. WOW.

That climb is tougher (after more than 2 weeks and 2/3 through a TT) than most people think. It's short but steep.

I could be wrong (it's an estimate) but judging from the profile pic, it's about 8.9%.

Is that Boonen water skiing in his Belgium national jersey?

I think he got more airtime then, than he did during any sprint.

Too much soft serve if you ask me.

BTW - is that water colour in the lake natural? It looks amazing!

Cadel Evans down over a minute at the first time check. He can't even TT properly anymore. He must either be ill or so pissed off at his team that he has decided to free wheel to Paris.

Where? Let's be precise: Julius Tandler Platz 3 in Vienna. That's the McDonalds branch close to the "Humanplasma" clinic.

That's all we need, another Tyler Hamilton...

He doesn't seem to be riding one handed, so any 'break', if it exists, can't be more than a minor crack.

I'm certain his concert pianist wife will simply love that.
