I also need one of those WCS Carbon saddles to finish off my Salsa (I have even more WCS parts than yourself) but Paligap who import Ritchey haven't got the black ones in stock yet !!!

Your HT Pro looks pretty sweet though & the white version would certainly add to the look.

Don't worry too much about the set up of the forks, I leave it at 95psi positive and 105 psi negative. I weigh 65kg ish, and found this set up to be nice.
could not disagree more, getting the bike and particularily the suspension corectly set up for the rider is essensial to getting the fork working at its best for the rider. set up is important, and should be done carefully, patiently, and with the view of forever improving the ride.

    Hey all,

Nope, haven't bought the saddle yet although I must admit I am somewhat tempted, just to see what it look like if nothing else

Don't know if you've seen but they're releasing a Limited Edition of it in December (although to be honest, I don't like the colour scheme) so I'd go with the standard Pro.

Go for it, you won't be disappointed :D Gimme a shout if you have any queries when you get it, be happy to help

  • yeah i saw that, not a big fan of the colour scheme personally.

Well got a pro on order, should be here in a week. So i'll pop off on holiday and hopefully it'll be there when i get back.

    identi Nut:

I picked up my Boardman Pro 09 mtb Monday night from Halfords - rode it home. Tuesday cycled to work, went to a relatives and on way home...left pedal flew off and sheared the threads on the Stylo crank arm.

Gutted to say the least, and glad it happend two minutes walk from my house. However I now have to take it back to Halfords who today said they will replace it all on the spot tomorrow evening.

Basically a word of warning really - when you pick it up, check everything is tightened up as this appears to be the fault of the young lad who built it up at Halfords last weekend...!

Other than that, the bike is brilliant, I exchanged my GT I-Drive xcr5 (idrive was creaky...) and the Boardman is just so much more fun to ride (the ltd time I used it lol!) - very quick and overall worth the money.

Now...I have a date with a Halfords employee for a lynching tomorrow night ha ha

Enjoy the bike when you get it - I am.
